I am giving this rating because I was overcharged for service. I have been a mechanic in the aviation and aerospace industries for 25 years, I can turn a wrench. I work 6 and 7 days a week and have little time for truck repairs. I took my truck to Crivelli Ford, where I bought it, for service. It was running rough, I figured it was a cylinder miss-firing. It was. $202.95 later I had one new ignition coil for one cylinder. There was a $92.58 charge for parts and the rest was labor. 6 mos. later I had another cylinder miss-fire. I had bought a diagnostic tool in the mean time and fixed this problem myself. The coil cost $45 and the total time to replace the coil was less than 35 minutes, including travel time to get the part from a local Ford dealer. Diagnosis and replacement time was less than 10 minutes. I called the service manager, he said the high bill was due to using a system analyzer and a Motorcraft part. I told him I used my own analyzer and bought the coil from a Ford dealer. He had no response.

Called Gmc service Dept & spoke to Pat Duffy about problem I was having, told me to bring in immediately dropped my suburban off & within less than an 1/2 hr. was on my way with a brand new loaner. He & Dave Malinowski took excellent care of me . That’s what customer service is all about !! I should know I myself am in the service industry. [The Left Front rotor had turned blue, from the heat, ... only after it cooled down four (4) hours later.] I am quite familiar with the Service Industry and I know when to trust "gut" instincts concerning "poor service" from same. I (also) do not appreciate the MIDAS treatment ... especially from Ferraro Cadillac. Because of the seriousness of the above-described incident and the near-fatal possibility, I will not be returning to Ferraro for Sales or Service. After having my tires rotated and purchase a new tire, they forgot to tighten them and wanted to charge me for additional balancing . The attitude in the service technician has always. When poor and cocky. When I asked to speak to the service manager he never got on the phone. So I will never purchase or service another car in this dealership.

(Full Review) This is definitely not a five star jeep dealership. I am a regular Gary Barbara customer but they were booked so I tried Gegnas Chrysler and was disappointed. My jeep was in the service dept for over two days and all it needed was a new battery. After having the jeep for two days, they had the audacity to charge me labor for investigating my complaint, then finding out what was wrong with the jeep and then replacing the battery. So, all together I was charged 3 different labor fees. I questioned this at the service dept and nothing they said to me made any sense. Coincidentally, all mgmt was out to lunch. ..or so I was told. Also, when I got to the dealership, no one appeared to be really busy, which I guess would explain why it took them two days to put a battery into my jeep. Avoid this place at all cost if you don't want to be riped off.

This car was purchased with only 1K milles and after 14K more miles, the oil plug fell out and the engine seized causing $8K worth of damage. Mind you I had an oil change 5 months previously and it does not take 5 months for a plug to fall out. Furthermore, the dealer refused to contact the warranty company despite my request so I had to contact them and open a case. Even after this, the warranty representatives stated that the dealer informed them that this wasn't covered and that the oil plug issue is not their. the warranty place was not told of the time lapse between services nor did they know that the research my point that the car did not notify me of any issue until the very second that the engine seized causing thousands of dollars of damage to my car without any negligence on my part. The failure of the plug after 5 months of working without a problem and the car's failure to notify me of a catastrophic engine emergency is the fault of the car and it is buick's responsibility to remedy this; but they refuse to do so. My holiday was ruined, gifts returned, and the car dealer still refused to assist me or call me to give me any updates. 14 days without a car and no call to advise the status or when it will be done. And again, the dealer and warranty people refused to help me regardless of the fault of their products. The lack of proper services will prompt me to see legal action and I will report this lack of any communication to the BBB.
