Dealer is the rudest, most unfriendly dealership I have... - quirkfords
Dealer is the rudest, most unfriendly dealership I have ever visited.
I walk into the showroom often, either headed to parts or service counter, and the sales people NEVER greet or acknowledge me.
Strike One.
This past month I went in to shop for a new car. I sat in the car for 5 minutes in the driver seat, then switched the rear seat, passenger seat and then walked around the car. I was in the showroom for a good 15 minutes and NEVER ONCE acknowledged!! It wasn't until I was halfway out the door that someone noticed me.
Strike Two.
I was shopping on the Ford home website and after requesting my information, it captured my contact info and directed it the very dealer I had a bad experience in. Ok, I figured lets see what happened...i really wanted to buy a car and have purchased from here before, so maybe they can turn the experience around.
The contact experience from their internet coordinator was infrequent and poor. All canned responses and not very responsive. After a week, finally I made an appointment to drive a car. Yes, an appointment to go back. When I arrived, I had to look around and find a saleman, they were all too busy chatting in the "booth", something I witness everytime I am in there. The assigned salesman finally greeted me. After I introduced myself, he proceeded to tell me that the car I was scheduled to drive had been sold. That was my greeting; "Here is the car you CANT drive". I had to ask if they had SOMETHING I could drive. After 15 minutes, he located something. I drove it, it was nice. To this day, NO ONE FOLLOWED UP.
Strike Three.
I just bought a new car elsewhere. They really need new management there.
