Warning: Sold a Broken Car and Then Ignored–Avoid This Dealership and Chevrolet I purchased a brand new Chevrolet Spark from Mike Kelly Automotive in 2021, and I’ve had a persistently frustrating experience since the day of the sale. The air conditioning/heating system in the vehicle has been broken from the beginning where the air does not blow 90% of the time, and despite numerous attempts to address the issue, the dealership and Chevrolet’s response have been nothing short of appalling. Over two years of owning this car, I’ve sought assistance for this issue on multiple occasions. My concerns were brushed aside after two inspections, where nothing was found to be wrong, and the matter was entirely written off. The complete lack of accountability, responsibility, and genuine customer care from the dealership, Chevrolet, and the individual who sold me the vehicle at the dealership, Garrett, is astonishing. Radio silence on all fronts despite persistent communication on our end. It is deeply disheartening to experience such indifference from a dealership that was so very willing to take my money and then ignore me entirely afterwards. Despite reaching out to Chevrolet directly to escalate the matter, the response has been resounding silence. This has left me with a car (and a car loan) that has a fundamental issue and absolutely no resolution in sight. Summers are miserable and winters are dangerous driving in my car because of the a/c & heat not working properly. I am dismayed by the complete lack of professionalism, responsibility, and basic customer service exhibited by Mike Kelly Automotive, Garrett, and Chevrolet in handling this matter. I have been left with a faulty vehicle and no support or resolution in sight. Avoid Mike Kelly Automotive and Chevrolet to spare yourself the never ending ordeal we continue to deal with on a daily basis.

Made the 310 mile, 5-hour round trip there ... and they sold the car ... less than one hour after confirming my appointment and asking for my social security number. Unreal.

After being a loyal customer for over 25 years, I'm very disappointed in how they treated me. My family has bought between 12-15 vehicles from them being mostly new. I was going to order a 2023 GMC Yukon SLT off them. After sitting down with them they told me they would not offer my Dads GM employee pricing that they did not have to offer. Since they are in high demand. After calling 4 other dealerships near them. They said they would offer with no mark up. Shame on Jennings for lining their pockets over loyalty. Brought all my vehicles to get serviced. No more! They lost a life long customer.

Warranty fraud? Purchased a warranty for paint and dent, was never told a coating was to be applied to our new 2023 Equinox. Sold the vehicle one year later and requested the refund on the remainder of the warranty. Was told because this treatment was applied to the vehicle they can't refund anything. When the New Cars Manager was told and checked to find out it wasn't applied he offered to apply it to our New Vehicle we purchased somewhere else but could not refund even though this was something we didn't receive as they turned in the paperwork saying we did receive it. Wouldn't this be fraud? Spoke to the owner and explained this. He rudely refused to do anything about this and hung up on me. Will never return here again. Tell all your family and friends to be careful dealing with McQuillen. Ron the Sales Manager admitted and apologized to us that we don't get the treatment and it was their error. Was going to backdate the paperwork for treatment he wanted to apply to our new vehicle, we refused as it would be illegal to do so as it was not the same vehicle, not the same year, make or model. Be careful dealing with McQuillen.

I've been having a recurring starting/staying started issue with my Saturn and Thomas is the "GM Certified" service center nearest to me so I brought it in. They were up-front about the diagnostic cost and called me before they took each further step to figure out what my issue was. I got out of there for what I believe is pretty reasonable price being this is a dealer. Jim was good to talk to over the phone, and the receptionist when I picked up my car was very friendly (I'm sorry I don't remember her name). One of the better experiences I've had at a dealer. If anything else goes wrong with my car I will be bringing it back to them. I'm not giving any 'great' ratings because I've had less than awesome experiences with dealerships in the past - even when Saturn was supposed to be the 'friendly, no-hassle' dealer. But they were better than some of the others I've talked to. I'll go back and I'd recommend them to others too - at least on the service side.

From the viewing and test drive to the sale. Greg was there to answer any and all questions and to offer his best advice to what vehicle and options were best for me after listening to my wants and needs. Took my car in for a front end alignment paid $130 got my car back drove down the street car was all messed up still not rite so go back next day because I was busy and ask to speak to a supervisor and I was lied to guy said he was the supervisor and I told him the problem and he said his technician did the job right the first time and refuse to fix my car and started degrading me I told him I'm going to Sue and said by the looks of my clothes I couldn't afford to sue him and would not give me a refund

My recent vehicle purchase was my first experience with John Sauder Chevrolet. I will admit that I went into the dealership with an attitude, expecting to encounter the stereotype of salesman that had been formed in my mind by previous negative experiences with New Car Dealerships. Kirk Newcomer dispelled those notions as his professionalism and apparent honesty brought me back into a comfort zone which allowed me to make an informed decision about my purchase without pressure and without the feeling that I must be on guard for any deceptive practices. Kirk was very knowledgeable and responsive. He was eager to find answers to any questions I posed, and he was very helpful in finding the exact "up fit" equipment which I desired for my new work van, so that upon delivery I had everything I needed. Communication with Kirk was readily available and he followed up quickly on every detail. Kirk did his best to provide a buying opportunity which gave me options in finding a solution to my needs that were in my best interest. Bottom line: Buying a new vehicle from Kirk Newcomer and John Sauder Chevrolet was a positive and pleasurable experience. I drove out of the dealership feeling satisfied instead of "taken". I will be a repeat customer.

This was my first experience with this dealership and I was pleasantly surprised. The price I was quoted over the internet for the SUV I inquired about never changed when I got to the dealership. Every other place I had gone to would change their story once I got there, can't give the incentive and 0%, you get one or the other...you know, the typical old song and dance everyone goes through. But at this place, I got both, the incentive and the 0% financing....and they gave me exactly what I thought my car was worth right from the start! It was my best car buying experience ever. I recommend them highly.

We were three ladies, one of which was my elderly mother, on our way to Philly for a shopping trip, two days after Thanksgiving, far from home,when my tire on my '13 Equinox quickly began losing air. We pulled off at the next exit,, thinking we would find a service station, which we didn't, but there was Zeigler! Even though their service area was closed on Saturdays, upon seeing my elderly mother, they fixed my tire anyway and sent us on our way. GM Roadside Assistance would have taken hours to get to us. They really went ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty. Buy your cars at Zeigler. They are awesome!!! : ) )

They are the biggest liars! Do not deal with Rich. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car dealer ship. Originally my car broke down on August 25 and I took it to a car shop in Mount Morris PA. They changed a few sensors and my car still wasn’t working so they took it to Bortz “without my approval first” and even Bortz still could tell me what exactly was wrong with it, they said they needed to tear into the engine some more to find the issue. They charged me $300 for just hooking it up to their computer. But again I never received any updates for a week while it was with the shop in Mount Morris/ Bortz. But finally after a week of getting no answers I talked to a sales representative named Rich. I asked him if I would bring my car up there and have it fixed could he assist me in trading it in for a new or used one and his answer was yes. So I had my car towed back to Waynesburg and they started working on it after I signed a waver that allowed them to look through my engine for the issue. I was told by the service lady it will be one week before they could look at it which is fine and I understand. So that brings to being careless for 3 weeks at this point. I call on the following Thursday to check on the progress of the job. And service tells me the parts it needs and a estimated cost which I agree with. Again not an issue, I just don’t appreciate it when I’m ignored instead of given answers so I can understand what the issues are they are fixing. Well fast forward to last week and I call in to talk to Rich. He doesn’t answer like usual so I transfer to service to check on my car myself. She said my car is done and can be picked up anytime. But I wanted to see if a trade in was possible. Well she told me to call back when Rich was in. I asked when that would be and she couldn’t tell me. Well I call each day after to talk to Rich and each time I was transferred to his voicemail. It was like he knew I was calling and just didn’t want to bother with a paying customer. Finally I get ahold of him on Wednesday and he told me I needed to do a credit check over the phone with him and he will check to see if I am approved or not. Again I understand this and expect it to go either way. Well he said for me to call him tomorrow (Thursday) and we will get it started. Well I call to tell him I did the application on their website the same day. So I called Thursday to see if he checked my credit, well I couldn’t get through to him it kept going to voicemail so on my lunch break that day I just drove there and asked for Rich I was told he was outside mowing that day and went home early WITHOUT returning my missed phone calls! I was fed up at this point so I asked another sales person if I could switch and have him help me well the manager told him no. So I went back to work and called him again on Friday (today) STILL HE DIDNT ANSWER! So I went up there today to just talk to him in person. When I walked in he said “Hello Faith I was just getting ready to call you. He was sitting with another sales rep most definitely not about to call me. I politely ask him if he ran my credit report yet and he said no so I asked him if he could do that today. He said yes and that he would call me in about an hour with what the creditors say well I wasn’t going anywhere this time so I just drove downtown to help my dad with his new tires and while I was there only about 20 minutes he called to tell me that I was not approved for a loan. And I was okay with that and told him thank you for his help and I would be up to pick up my car. Well then I thought of a few questions I’d like to ask him so I drove the five minutes and I walked in to find that he had already left, I was extremely upset with this service it felt more like disrespect. I will never go there for service again! Biggest joke of a dealership I’ve ever seen! They made me feel like I was such a hassle when all I wanted was to check on my car. Go to Premier in Morgantown WV!

Poor service at service dept - Jay

My wife and I took our Chevy Tahoe in for an inspection, new tires, new shock and new parking sensor. While the tires were being replaced they broke a pressure sensor. When we called and complained the service manager was very rude to my wife. The Shock and sensor we were told would be available in 2 to 3 days. After 4 days I called and was told by the manager that they were still on order. After 11 days my wife called and found out the parking sensor was in but the shock had not even been ordered yet. This department seems to be run very loosely and unprofessionally. They did give us a 10% discount on our bill because of the trouble which might excuse the tire and ordering issues, it certainly doesn't excuse the rudeness.

Then I started talking to Joe's manager, Carlos. We found a good deal and I put a deposit. It was a very smooth experience. I was picked up from the airport and was out of the dealership under an hour. Super smooth experience. I appreciate Kyle for the awesome buying experience. I purchased a used 2008 Cadillac DTS from this dealership and was not told that it had been wrecked and when I pointed this out to the dealership,they expected me to pay for half of the repair costs. I also bought an extended warranty since this was a used vehicle to help cover the cost of future repairs,when I tried to use it to cover a cost of a repair,I was denied! Anyone considering making a purchase from this dealership be careful and not be as trusting as I was!

Terrible & Dishonest - Sugg Never Again

Sold me a car that was in an accident and had water damage without telling me. The car had tons of issues and the dealer did absolutely nothing to help. I should have pulled the carfax before I bought the car. I found all of this after the fact. Stupid me. Do not buy from this dealer, very dishonest. I bought their recommended extended warranty to find out they wouldn't fix it (blown transmission) because it had water damage. Useless.

Complained about radio display screen going blank several times while truck was still under warranty. Service department could not find anything wrong because it was working when at the dealers. Last time I went in for service I told them screen was still going blank. Somehow by Voodoo magic they knew what was wrong and it would cost $389.17 and sorry its out of warranty. Contacted G.M. and they made a deal with Sylvester to cut my price in half. There warrant is worthless.
