Very helpful salesman. Not pressuring, informative and searched out info when he didn't know it. Helped negotiate a trade in on a new Rav 4 Hybrid. The finance person, however, was insensitive to my time-frame late in the day and tried to "wear me down" to accept extra warranties with inadequate l o n g explanations, despite knowing I/we had a long way to drive home in sketchy rainy condititions. Took at least an hour and a half longer than it should have to get things finalized. Nearly walked out without signing the agreement. It also seemed the dealership wasn't always up to snuff with what was going on in other departments - such as a full tank of gas when I drove off in the new vehicle, but the salesman has tried to make things right.

Let me start off by saying that I hate car shopping. It is one of the most stressful situations for me because I do not feel like I am in control at any point. With so many options and choices to make, it can feel overwhelming at times. That said, my experience with Damian Lillard Toyota was anything but overwhelming because it felt like I was in control from the start. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional and supportive. From my first contact with Internet Sales Rep Becky to my showroom contacts Austin and Paul to Chris the Finance Rep I did not feel pressured at all during my visit. I am looking forward to many camping, sight-seeing adventures in my new 2026 Sienna XSE!

I was in quite the plight with my Honda Prologue. - emmasearlait

I was in quite the plight with my Honda Prologue. The car had broken down twice under 5000 miles (once in the shop for 2 weeks) and there were issues with braking on the highway, and then Honda announced they would be discontinuing the car. It was basically a GM car with a Honda logo. I still had a lease on it and of course a ton of negative equity. Michael Rodriguez helped me significantly. He spoke with me on the phone, took my car for $2500 more than another Toyota dealer was offering, and helped me get a $500 discount because I’m a college student. I went through a Honda Civic and a Honda Prologue, and the whole time I was eyeing a Toyota Tacoma. Great truck with high resale value, and everyone knows any Toyota you buy is basically eternal. Michael helped me get my monthly payments to within $20 of where my Prologue was, and the insurance for a 2026 Tacoma ended up being about $50 cheaper. Such a good feeling. I drove it back to Eugene the next day and still had 200 miles of range and started at 293, but I had driven it around before the Highway trip to Eugene. My prologue would have gone from about 250 miles to 90 or 80 from Portland to Eugene, and then I would have to go to the nearest level 3 charging station 20 minutes away and sit there for an hour. Michael was instrumental in this process and I am very thankful for his help in getting me a Toyota I’ve wanted for a while now. He helped me get a car that gives me confidence on the road that it won’t say “service high voltage system” (like my prologue did twice in the pouring rain on I5). Michael had great customer service and explained the truck and finances very clearly. Whenever my younger sister gets a car I will be telling her to go to Beaverton Toyota. While Toyotas’ unparalleled longevity and value retention are factors, the wonderful experience Michael provided is a huge factor!

Earlier I wrote a review on the poor service I got. Ted, the General Sales Manager gave me a call and wanted to hear my side of the story as he had already talked to Dillion. I explained what happened and he said he would take care of me and make it right. Wow! I felt he went out of his way to fix the problem. He had the lights reinstalled properly, got me a very nice rental Hylander to use while the repairs were being made and he filled my gas tank up. This is what customer service SHOULD look like. I had a very positive experience with Toyota of Portland on Broadway. I purchased a 2026 Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid XSE, mainly working with Leon Weingrod, who was friendly, professional, flexible, knowledgeable, and helpful. What I liked best was that I was able to work with Leon mainly via text. I shared info about the model and features I wanted and Leon searched for the car. He answered my questions, provided information, including pictures and specs, made offers and responded to counter offers, all quickly and via text. As a result, I saved a lot of time. When I went to pick up the car, the process went very quickly. I signed the required papers, received a request tutorial from Leon and left the dealership a happy and satisfied customer. I have purchased three cars over several years from Broadway of Toyota. I also use their service department and I highly recommend both the sales staff and the service department.

I'm disappointed that I must write this review after having an enjoyable purchase process. In fact, my family would likely have purchased a new vehicle here within 2-3 years. Unfortunately, we have been shafted by the customer satisfaction department. Picture this... We purchased a GOLD CERTIFIED 4Runner 8 months ago. 17k miles on it. We were upsold due to "upgrades" that were included with one of the used vehicles. We stretched our budget and spent 51k total. Then... A/C fails 8 months after purchase in the dead of summer. Another Toyota dealership's service department informed us that the aftermarket front winch had rubbed against the A/C line, causing a leak. We approved those repairs at a total cost of $1,200. Why am I leaving a one-star review??? Well, we received no previous disclosure that the winch was aftermarket and a possible liability. We purchased a "GOLD CERTIFIED" vehicle with 17k miles on it, obviously not expecting to have a $1,000 repair bill 8 months after purchase! Toyota's corporate offices provided an indication and some reassurance that Capitol Toyota would make this situation good. Remember... "gold... certified" used vehicle. Unfortunately, Kyle Read has communicated to us that Capitol Toyota would rather keep their fists clenched on that $1,000 pocket change than foster customer loyalty. Pretty silly!
