My Mercury Mariner broke down on my way to southern California. I had it towed to Legacy Ford. I had to continue on to my job. Mike in the service department kept me informed of the progress of the engine replacement. When I returned to pick up my suv Alisia (sp) helped me out with the charges and got me back to my car quickly. I also want to thank Lisa for allowing me to rent a car for the almost 6 weeks that it took for the repairs Thank You Legacy Ford for the personal service you gave me. I worked for over 30 years in the auto service buisness and know how much work it takes to care for customers the way they do. I recommend Legacy Ford for any automotive need. 5 stars

They have had my truck for over a month. Simple repair DEF heater, oil filter, Check breaks. 900.00 diagnostic charge. Won't start any repairs for another week or so. Told them I just wanted to pick my truck up, now I have to find a service center that will actually work on the truck.

I took my 2000 F350 to Power Ford to have my serpentine belt replaced under warranty, as it was making a squeaking noise. They replaced it under warranty with what was supposed to be a Ford OEM serpentine belt. I took my truck to them in October, due to my A/C not working. They did a service, said I was a pound low on freon (even though I had a new A/C compressor installed 4 months earlier). The service was around $250.00. My air conditioner still did not work. I took it back and they replaced my A/C compressor, which was under warranty and did some other work, that cost me over $481.00. I was told there were some other items that should have been replaced at the time the compressor was originally replaced. Turns out my A/C still didn't work. I was in Salem the week after and took my truck into a dealership here in Salem, Hillyards Mid City Ford. They found out that the problem was a sensor and loose wires. I was also informed that a wire clip on the compressor was broken. When wires were jiggled, the A/C worked. I was also shown freon that was on the engine in a few places. After fixing it, I had the service advisor at Hillyard Ford to speak with Mike, the service advisor at Power Ford, and they paid a portion of the bill for me, as they missed that when it was there. I appreciated that. The squeaking noise came back after the A/C work was done at Power Ford, but by then I was in Salem. When I took it into Hillyard Ford to fix the A/C, the squeaking noise wasn't there. When the squeaking sound first starts, it goes away when the engine warms up. I took it back into Hillyard Ford, left it overnight, and when they started it they found out that the serpentine belt had been contaminated with freon. They were going to replace it, as it was still under warranty, but said they had to charge me, as it was a NAPA serpentine belt instead of a Ford OEM belt. I called power Ford, and they told me the serpentine belt was a Ford belt. I checked the part number on the receipt from Power Ford and found out it was an aftermarket NAPA serpentine belt. I called Power Ford to let them know, and see if they would do anything for me. They Paid the bill for me. Things happen, but I appreciate that Power Ford stood behind their work and took care of the bill for me. Not many dealers would do that. My husband had a service appointment this morning at 9am. This appointment was made a month ago and he drove one hour to get there. He checked in early and waited for over an hour. When he asked the service employee when they would be getting to his vehicle they were very rude. This normally patient man was so upset that he took his key and left. the service department up sells , went in to have tires rotated got a call that the lug nuts where rounded and there the only one s to rotate and mount the wheels on our vehicle cost me extra 90.00$ for new lug nuts that they had destroyed i have bought 7 vehicles from them in the last 20 years , Never Again !

Brought my Ford Edge in ,they had it 3 months , returned in Oct 2022, they Replaced the PTU (Front Transfer Case) and changed the rear differential fluid. Upon finally getting it back, as soon as I drove it home it was making horrible noises from the rear of the SUV when making a tight turn, and when at highway speeds( felt and sounded like you were running over the marks on the side of the road... bump ,.bump, bump.) Brought it back, their experienced Ford trained mechanics drove it down the street and back, then put it on the lift, declared there was nothing wrong. Another mechanic drove with the 1st around the building and came up and said it was the rear axle failing and that it was because I had 2 different brands of tires on the car. All the same size, but the front axel has toyo and the rears had Goodyear's. So I put new tires on all around (2700 out of pocket) the noises were still there, looked at notes and receipt from them, they put the WRONG type of fluid in the rear axle/differential. Brought it back and after getting into an argument with the tall mechanic who claimed it's better fluid anyhow, and my reply was Ford doesn't list it as an acceptable fluid to use, they finally put the correct Ford authorized fluid in it. ....April 2023 comes around (6 months since repairs were finished) the $3500 dollar PTU that they installed, failed after several thousand miles, supposed to last 50,000 to 75,000 miles. Brought it to another local Ford Dealer, TS&S didn't fill the PTU with fluid, resulting in it failing. Great Ford Trained Mechanics TS&S has. The noise which they claimed was the rear axle due to tires being from different companies..turns out the rear hub on the driver's side was failing. The other dealerships real Ford trained mechanics spotted it as soon as they had it up on the lift. Impossible to miss the one said, maybe TS&S needs to send their mechanics to the other dealerships in the area and learn how to work on Ford vehicles. They also over tighted the bolts on the muffler/exhaust system with an air xxxxxxx, so much the other dealer can't get them removed. So they are ordering all new and will be fixing the horrible juvenile patch and repair job that TS&S did. I've been waiting for 3 months again for the other local Ford dealer to fix the damage that TS&S did, rental car costs are over 2 thousand dollars now, tires another 2700 that were NOT needed , and the cost of the original repair that TS&T was too incompetent to complete correctly. If you want to wait months, have wrong fluids put in your expensive Ford, shotty work, lied to your face, go to TS&S. Thank God the original PTU work was covered by an extended warranty that I had. I'd not recommend bringing a Hot Wheels Ford toy to this dealership, yet alone a real vehicle. They don't stand behind their work either. If you did you own me 7500 , I'll take that in cash please. 6 months of not having my SUV, but paying for insurance,payments and now rental fees to fix your so called professional work. You should be ashamed of yourselves .

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a vehicle there for over 90 days waiting for a back ordered part, and after several calls by myself following up with the service department, they said it would be done and ready to pick up. Went to pick the vehicle up and and the transmission was making a horrendous noise and shifting hard. Turned around and went back. Left it with them over the weekend, went and picked back up and same problem persists!!! Called the service department again and and they told me to go somewhere else because they weren't going to invest anymore time on it because they could not get it to duplicate the same problem. I've had 3 people including myself drive the vehicle and ALL have experienced the same problem. Funny they can't seem too!!!! ONE of the people that drove it for me is a MASTER TECH!!!!
