My 1999 F250 Ford diesel work truck was stolen from the - RachPerson
My 1999 F250 Ford diesel work truck was stolen from the service department while there for possible warranty work. Had previous positive experiences with Juan. But after the theft, I was told the following:
1) they had no liability
2) I was not allowed to file with their insurance nor have any information on who their insurance carrier was
3) they had no cameras on the premises
4) my truck could have been missing for up to 4 days as no inventory was taken
5) the truck was stolen during business hours & driven past the front of the building, out the main gate, with no one noticing, including salesman
After all of that, It took
-multiple calls to corporate before the general manager contacted me 8 business days after the truck was stolen
-threats to hire a lawyer before I was given information speak to their insurance carrier
-no call to follow up with police report
-dealership refused to work with police investors over lack of camera footage
-advised I’d never win in court because of legal team superiority & insurance companies’ policies (by a independent lawyer, not the dealership)
Do not use Joe Cooper for any reason, ever! $12k might be nothing in their world but it’s a lot in mine! That truck had sentimental value as well, it was bought new by Grandpa & passed down to us. Drove it across country, to work on bad weather days, carried home my babies from the hospital, and more. Joe Cooper’s logo is “who loves you, Oklahoma?” Well they don’t. They really, really don’t. From my pain, gain this: avoid them!!!!!!!!!!!!
