They have had my vehicle in the service department for 6 weeks. They will not provide a loaner vehicle. They Assured me it would be done no later than June 23rd, now will not return my calls or tell me what’s going on. Terrible, incompetent, low integrity dealership.

The service department is without a doubt the best I have done business with. Oil changes down to engine repair or cosmetic touch ups have been attended to with utmost clarity. The service manager treats me like my voice is important and wants to see me 100% satisfied before I leave. He is upfront on all aspects of your car and gives you the best recommendations . You'll be happy you chose to go there. Just ask for David, and ....tell him Mrs. Doshier says hello!

Been with Freedom Ford (McAlester, OK) for the last 11 years now; and have never once had a disappointing moment. Always on time. Very professional work and treat you like family. I took my 2005 F250 6.0 in on a Sunday 2/7/16, the owner of the Dealership was there and told him my truck would not start when it was warmed up. This is the 4th dealership it has been in in the past 18 months. Befor I left I saw a 1959 f250 I wanted to buy, he gave me the keys to it and I looked at the truck and told him I have in his parking lot a 2011 Crown Victoria I wanted to trade, he looked at it and said yes and to call him on Monday. Next morning I did just that and gother his voice mail. After lunch I called again same voice mail. That afternoon I get a call from the dealership telling me someone came in and bought the truck, man of his word isn't he. Then the shop called telling me my 6.0 needs a hpop, 2200.00 and 9.5 hrs of labor, I tell them to fix my truck. Tuesday I call the dealership and ask them while they have to remove the intake manifold to also replace the oil cooler and he said ok. Tuesday afternoon the shop called me and told me that the mechanic said he is no where near the oil cooler and labor would be another 4 hrs, I told him my truck was not a ATM and to just put it back together and he said ok. It is now 2/11/16 and my truck is still in the shop. I went in and looked at it this morning, the mechanic was sitting in a chair all that was left to put my truck out the door was to put the air cleaner box back on. I asked the mechanic when I could have my truck back and he popped off at me saying you will get it back when I'm done at the end of the day. Well its now 4:45 pm and still no truck. Over 4 day's to do a 9.5 hr job. I make a living with this truck and they are costing me a lot of money. My advice to everyone is to learn from my mistakes.

Service above and beyond expectations - Jim and Judy

We purchased a used Ford F 350 truck to pull our new fifth wheel RV. The day we picked the truck up we drove from Muskogee to Oklahoma City and back again. About fifty miles down the road we briefly smelled antifreeze but thought it was coming from the car next to us. The truck ran fine without any warning lights coming on. Little did we know that a head gasket had blown. We took the truck in for service and in less than a month James Hodge Ford did over $7,000.00 in repairs at no charge. Incidentally we did not purchase an extended warranty. Each time we took the truck in we were given a loaner car with a full tank of gas to drive until the truck was returned. The service and sales manager were very customer focused and said they would be sure the truck was fixed right. The truck is now running great and seems to be up to the challenge of pulling our 13, 500 pound RV. We definitely recommend James Hodge Ford as they definitely went above and beyond to make our truck reliable and dismiss our skepticism of the truck. Thank you, Jim and Judy Durham

My 1999 F250 Ford diesel work truck was stolen from the service department while there for possible warranty work. Had previous positive experiences with Juan. But after the theft, I was told the following: 1) they had no liability 2) I was not allowed to file with their insurance nor have any information on who their insurance carrier was 3) they had no cameras on the premises 4) my truck could have been missing for up to 4 days as no inventory was taken 5) the truck was stolen during business hours & driven past the front of the building, out the main gate, with no one noticing, including salesman After all of that, It took -multiple calls to corporate before the general manager contacted me 8 business days after the truck was stolen -threats to hire a lawyer before I was given information speak to their insurance carrier -no call to follow up with police report -dealership refused to work with police investors over lack of camera footage -advised I’d never win in court because of legal team superiority & insurance companies’ policies (by a independent lawyer, not the dealership) Do not use Joe Cooper for any reason, ever! $12k might be nothing in their world but it’s a lot in mine! That truck had sentimental value as well, it was bought new by Grandpa & passed down to us. Drove it across country, to work on bad weather days, carried home my babies from the hospital, and more. Joe Cooper’s logo is “who loves you, Oklahoma?” Well they don’t. They really, really don’t. From my pain, gain this: avoid them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took my truck there for service. Paid the bill after I told them to stop working on it. Tried to drive truck home and it overheated and died again along with still has the electrical issue and now the timing chain is broken. Spent $3100 on it, was going to buy a create motor for it $3500. Never again will I buy or trust this company to work on anyone car I know.

WARNING! - benetzero

WARNING!!! Had a fuel injector return line go bad on my 2019 F-350 when returning to Lubbock. I googled Ford Dealerships near me and found Mainer Ford of Bristow. I called them to see if they could fix the problem and they said yes, they have Ford Authorized Mechanics. They replaced the high pressure line and when I asked them to check if this was covered under warranty, they said "no, Ford does not cover hoses." I then paid them almost $1100 and drove home. Less than 3 months later, the line blows near San Angelo Texas. Jim Bass Ford replaced the line for no charge under my powertrain warranty. I called Mainer and was advised that quote "we are not an authorized Ford dealership. We can't perform Ford warranty work." They misrepresented themselves, as they are still doing on this page, as Mainer Ford of Bristow. So they took my $1100 and couldn't even fix it to last 3 months. Thanks for the lies and sub-standard work. I am glad I had the rework done by an honest AUTHORIZED Ford shop in Texas this time.
