Was asked to provide personal information JUST to look at a vehicle. I have NEVER been asked this, new or used car dealer. Maybe just me, but I will never give this info just to look at a car. To make it worse, they will copy your DL , and NOT provide the copy back to you when done, and will keep the info for 30 days. Also, two different websites had two different prices.

Drove an hour to get there to only be told that after being approved for certain amount that they don't have cars in that price range. But day before said come look at cars and if didn't like what was on lot would pull list of cars on their other lots. Totally bad business.

What sealed the deal for me, was the fact that they offered actual rust repair for no extra charge, and it was real rust repair, I even was able to watch one guy weld new metal on the truck they were working on.

This dealer lied to me about fixing my car. All he did was reset the computer. These people are breaking the law. I honestly didn't want to give the one star. This place is a total ripoff and Joe is an hibitual liar. I purchased a SUV from this place. On the test drive it was a bit shakey. I questioned the suspension, andJoe told me this car had a new engine, wheel bearings, control arms, and struts. I thought to myself get it checked. I drove the following day door wouldn't open, nor would the window come down. Returned it to masters that day to have it fixed. I wait there for two hours, and joe returned my car saying it's fixed. They very next day the window stops working again. I'm on my way to work, and I'm pulled over by Solon police. The officer satates I have no taillights at all, and tickets me. I'm driving along after my traffic stop, and the steering wheel starts to shake terribly. The service stability track light comes on, tire monitor, engine hot a/c off, and service engine. I take the car to have codes read, and it said EGR valve sensor $38, thermostat $28 wheel speed control sensors (which are located on the wheel bearing he said he fixed) $40 a piece, and Brake control sensors. Not to mention upper, and lower control arms. I called Joe very upset because these were all the same things he stated was new! Now mind you I'm no rookie so I made sure to record every encounter I've had with this dealership. I wanted my own personal record of his statements to me, and my own record of the shady deal. I called Joe he said bring the car back and he would fix it. He once again assured me that he replaced these items and didn't know what was going on. Joe kept my car for a week!! My brother is a retired certified mechanic. It doesn't take a week to fix these items. After a week I called Joe, and he said my car was fixed, and at the car lot. I arrive at the car lot, and now he's got a new deal for me! Instead of the initial $12,00 he was charging for the car its now $7,000, and he assures me again that my car is fixed. I thought my car was in a shop, or at least at the lot as he stated... Nope! My car was sitting in some backyard mechanic driveway on W.44!!! I drive off car runs ok steering wheel still shakey. After one week the dash is lit like a Christmas tree! I take my car into midas, and wouldn't you know none of the xxxx he said he fixed was replaced! All parts have serial numbers, and codes. Well when I took it to midas the firsr time to have the codes read the mechanic stored them in his computer. When I returned the car to him because I'm having the same problem. He reads the codes, then look at the parts, and tell me to get a lawyer!!!! The guy from midas told me that these were the very same got xxxx parts, and The only thing Joe did to my car was reset the computer to blank out the trouble codes!!!! I didn't even bother to call JOE! I called the attorney general, the better business bureau, and thank God my job offers legal sheild, and I'm meeting with an attorney 9/15/16 at 3:30pm. I made copies of the original deal for my records. Thank God! I faxed the paperwork as well as all the audio recordings of he full blown lies, as well as the part comparison print out from midas to the BBB, and attorney general! I'm now seeking damages, as well as my money back. I'm also going to fight to have this place closed for fraudulent business. I wanted so bad to believe this man because he seemed so sincere, and genuine. I'm so glad my dad didn't raise no fool, and was taught its always good to have proof! This is a shame... I just needed a steady stable running vehicle in the guidelines of the law! If Joe couldn't accommodate that he should've sent me about my way!! Please steer clear of this place, and I'm taking the necessary steps to have this business shut down. Mind you I haven't had my car over 30 days. It's been in the shop 4 times! Twice returned to him, and twice to midas. The attorney general's office, and my legal shield attorney informed me that more than twice in 30 days for the same problem violates the lemon law! People you don't have to take this! Do your research, and hold these people accountable for their actions!! What they are doing is against the law!!

Best buying experience ever hands down! I am a tough critique and not one to take the time to fill out surveys.....but doing so here is my pleasure. I cannot say enough good about Jon and the Roby experience overall. There were no silly games or unnecessary pressure. I wasn't talked into to staying on the lot for hours when I wanted to go see another car I was interested in. And when I called back to discuss purchasing their vehicle, we talked like two normal people and worked through an acceptable offer. That was it...easy, simple, professional, reasonable. And when I identified one minor issue with the car two days later, they took care of the problem at no cost to me. I will be a repeat customer and I highly recommend Roby to anyone considering purchasing a car from their lot. Good peeps!

The service department is worthless I didn't know when I baught the car it had already had one new transmission and after a baught it needed another transmission about 1 month. Before that I had it up because of a noise it was making sounded like the underneath of the car was falling out they told me it was missing a bolt and I didn't need to worry about it well it got worse took it back 2 more times to finally find out it needs a whole new suspension and they said u would have to pay for it which u didn't agree with because I had been reporting the issue 1 week after I got the car. And now after having the car for 3 months the underneath of the car when u put in reverse something sounds like it is dragging the ground. Nothing but problems after problems with this car never will I buy another car from those people never they don't need to be in business period. They rip people off.

I had a good experience buying my Mazda CX-5 at Kempthorn. I also looked at a VW Tiguan and a Volvo XC40 while there. Jay Murdock was good to work with and not high pressure. And he was understanding even when we wandered off and talked to the salesman in their Volvo area. My only real complaint was I felt he could have been just a little better at pointing out the the best features of the vehicle.

Let me preface this with the salesperson I spoke to came across as a very nice man. What happened was I went for a test ride in a Nissan 350z he had on the lot, I got about 2 minutes into the test drive and the car went into limp mode, and all sorts of lights came on the dash, so I crawled the car back to the lot, told him what happened, ok, he would check it out. I got a call no more than 3 minutes after I left the lot and he's trying to tell me he cleared the codes and the car was running fine...except I know that clearing the codes does not fix the problem that caused it to go into limp mode, all that does is temporarily fix it only to recur later. I hate to give that place a one-star rating, because the guy was nice about the whole thing, but nice only goes so far, you have to be real and honest with your customers if you want to have repeat business down the road, or referrals. With selling cars in today's world making sure that a car is actually repaired correctly, and they are standing behind their customers is huge if you want to rise above the competition. Car dealers are already fighting an uphill battle with the public perception that all car dealers are rip-off artists, you have to separate yourself from that mentality the public has and prove you are different by being way better than the others.
