I really like the new Atlas and ended up buying one. I met with Matt Geraci who was the salesman that was very insightful and helpful. I went in on a day when he was not there to do a second test drive and informed the sales manager about Matt. He asked another salesman to help me with the test drive. When I came back we discussed buying the car. I was asked to come back the next day to complete the paperwork with the new salesman. Part of the deal was the Blackout Package which was done after market because they no longer offer one through VW. I called a couple of times about picking up my car and did not receive a call back, it was more than the 5 days they told me. When I called about picking up my car over a week later, I did not get any responses. After calling yet again, the phone was answered by Matt, original salesman, and he was shocked to hear that I had bought the car. No one told him that had happened and from speaking with another salesman there, I learned that they do not share a commission if someone helps out another salesman. Just mot the right way to do business. Matt was generous enough to walk me through all the features of the car when i was finally able to pick it up. I was content with the work they did, but my driver and front passenger side windows were not tinted as it was stated to me by the new salesman. I picked up the car on a cloudy and rainy day, so I did not notice that day that the front windows were not tinted as it was explained to me by the second salesman. I did call twice but have yet to receive a call back. I just feel a bit bamboozled about it. Like I said, matt was great and the car is awesome. In working with Sandi, she was pleasant and quick. I did get the feeling that she was trying to rush through the process, and simply checked off the boxes she needs to. Greg was the second salesman and I liked him. His communication before the ale was good, but after has been on-existent. Our last four cars were a BMW X5, Toyota Rav 4, Toyota 4 Runner, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, each of the salesmen called me a couple of times within the first two months to check in. I have not received a call and I was already in for a minor computer issue.

Employees were friendly and pleasant, my car runs well. Be careful reading fine print and approving charges when dropping off: my regular mechanic recommended a timing chain replacement which is what I scheduled but I was still charged a $170 diagnostic fee after being verbally information at dropoff (did not get an option to waive) and they texted me three "urgent" repairs--the timing chain, a 120k service (with items that had JUST been done by my mechanic 2 days prior) and a $4500 head gasket "leak" which my mechanic denied was currently problematic.

We have been driving Subarus for many years and have been service customers of Yark Subaru for the past 3 1/2 years. We have been very satisfied with the staff, professionalism, and results of Yark's Service department. When the time came to purchase my wife's 5th Subaru, we decided to buy it from Yark. Our experience with that side of the business was as satisfying as the Service side. Our salesperson, Nick Cook, was incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us easily through the process of selecting the model, color, and options that we would find most useful. The process was informative and engaging, the paperwork was done efficiently without missing any details, and the sales department (Rick Spieth in particular) did an amazing job going over the vehicle I was interested in.

The purchase was smooth. The dreaded aftermarket maintenance sales pitches were minimal. Given the product is a Subaru, it must be the lousiest job in a dealership. There was a lot of delay obtaining out of stock accessory parts--follow-up could have been better in that regard. Subaru sells a nice package of options that tend to come with the vehicle, want 'em or not. But, they are good choices. Dealer prep charges are steep. Spring discount is nice.
