Thanks to express service advisor Jason Josephites my oil WASN'T overfilled for the first time in many oil changes at Serra. The first advisor actually tried to convince me that it's not a problem to overfill it! I said I don't want it overfilled, as I know this is not a good thing. Thankfully I was passed off to Jason who actually recognized the problems with overfill, and then took the initiative to only add 3.5 qts instead of the recommended 3.7 (to account for residual oil in the head that takes time to drain off) and after I let the car sit for a day and checking it cold, it was right on the money! First time EVER!!! Great job Jason, a very resourceful solution that should be implemented across all your express service departments! This would be better for your customers' cars and save around 5% in oil costs. Thanks Jason!

I was charged $370.00 for front brake pads and resurfacing rotors, not new rotors just resurfacing. I asked the technician to explain my bill and all he could say was, 'the brakes were $64(or something close to that) and the other number is for the work we did'?! I asked for an itemized receipt and he would not get me anything other than the receipt that he had given me. I've called around and this is easily $100 more than anyone else in town. One of the sales guys at the dealership even said that seems a little high, ask if they may have made a mistake. I will not be returning to this dealership for service work and will definitely share this experience on social media sites. Almost $400.00 for front brake pads is absurd.

After this 2014 Rustarado, that i bought at Shaftilino,.I will not be buying anymore GM products! I bought it and took it back immediately because it sounded like it had a bad exhaust leak and the undercoating had failed and the frame was rusting! I ended up taking it back like 6 times for this problem,.All under factory warranty! Staffilino has a garage full of deaf ASE certified mechanics apparently,. and if i hadnt contacted GM corporate,.it would have never got fixed! They did change the fuel pump for no reason and got paid by the warranty company! It ended up taking almost 2 years and 2 specialists from Indiana to diagnose and fix an exhaust manifold leak! PATHETIC!!!! Now that they seem to have it fixed finally,. i want the truck plugged in and checked, to see if the 12k miles that i ran off with this manifold leak, caused any damage to the O2 sensors, Valves, etc. My average fuel mileage went from 14 to 19 in the last week and 200 miles! Corporate representative Dani C, tells me that unfortunately, my truck is now out of factory warranty and that i would have to pay for any diagnostics!!! The undercoating was also reported under factory warranty and was never addressed, other than to tell me i had to wait on the "special coating" to come in! Must be a heck of a back order, because 2 years and i still havent got the call!! This too is now out of factory warranty and on a quiet night,.I can hear the truck, rusting in the driveway!! I'm going to run the crap out of this junk,.until my extended warranty is about to expire and then will trade it in on a new Dodge Ram. The carfax on this truck looks like a build sheet from all the recalls and issues and the dealership has seen my last dollar spent there! Most pathetic, shrewd, crooked dealer in the state of Ohio,.IMO!! Apparently since my last review, all of the staff has been replaced. I took my Acadia in for repair, back glass was leaking. I have owned this vehicle from new until now. The factory warranty has expired but I have an extended warranty. I was told they found the leak but I need to take it to a glass shop and give the warranty info. The glass shop will not accept the warranty. The glass shop, which SVG utilizes, said that SVG should do the claim and the glass shop will do the repair. SVG gets paid by the warranty company, the glass shop is paid by SVG. I'll be using a different service department/dealership in the future. I've utilized SVG/Gusweiler for many years, time for a change.

My wife purchased a used vehicle in Urbana, Sales people were OK, but the service department is useless. After the sale we had tires that leaked down constantly. After two visits we gave up. In January SVG did an oil change. 86 miles and two days later the add oil light came on, 2.5 quarts low. I called SVG to let them know they failed to put in enough oil. The service manager insists there is a problem with the engine, and it used the oil, even though there is no sign of leakage or oil in either the radiator or exhaust, this much oil in 86 miles would leave an indication..... I talked with Jeff Vangorder (manager I guess), he promised to follow up. He did call to tell me he would get the vehicle in to be checked and fixed....no contact since. Bottom line, DONT TRUST their service or their promises from management.

My check engine light came on my Chevy Equinox. I called Thayer Chevrolet and they fit me right in. They told me it would take about an hour to diagnose the problem (this was even before I brought it in). I was good with that. When I walked in they were so friendly, didn't even ask if I had bought the car there (I didn't) they automatically treated me like I was a long time customer. Thank goodness this was covered under the cars warranty (where I was going to take it they didn't even mention the warranty). Trisha from Thayer actually took the time to make sure it was covered under the warranty before they did any further work. While they were taking care of that they found I needed rear brakes, an oil change and a new filter (I was kind of aware I needed all of this). Trisha let me know if they could keep the car for one more day they could have it all done for me and the coupon I brought in would be applied to these services. When I went to go pick up my car they actually apologized for keeping it so long (only three days). At no time did I ever complain about them having my car. Thank you Thayer Chevrolet for taking care of me like I was one of the family.

oil change tire rotation with air pressure warning light on - WBRENDA5

Not sure how to respond, sure they just overlooked this. I'm having to take back. Air pressure warning light on. They said they have to reset, I've had the tires rotated , and all four tires had pressure lower than recommended, one with warning light. Don't they check the air pressure when they rotate tires? Told them a warning light was on. Received auto with same light still on, call them and they said it needed reset, bring back in, but tire is still low?
