My Jeep was towed to this dealership after hitting a deer on December 13, and the dealership received the vehicle on December 15. What should have been a straightforward repair has turned into an ongoing and extremely frustrating experience that has now lasted more than nine weeks.
The vehicle was kept until January 21, but the repairs were clearly not completed properly. After picking it up, I had to return two additional times because issues were missed or not fixed correctly. Around February 13, I discovered that multiple important suspension components and damage to the hood had either not been addressed at all or had been repaired improperly. These are critical components related to the safety and structural integrity of the vehicle, which makes the oversight even more concerning.
Repairs started again on February 16, and as of today I have been told they are only now beginning work on the suspension components and will still need to send the vehicle back to the body shop afterward. That means my vehicle has effectively been in and out of this dealership’s possession for over nine weeks due to incomplete and inadequate repairs.
This situation has involved repeated visits, multiple conversations, delays, and a great deal of inconvenience. The lack of thorough inspection, quality control, and accountability throughout this process is extremely disappointing. At this point, I have very little confidence that the repairs will be completed correctly when the vehicle is finally returned.
I am requesting that dealership ownership or upper management review this situation immediately. Given the amount of time, the repeated repair attempts, and the safety-related components that were overlooked, I believe this situation warrants serious attention.
If this issue cannot be resolved properly and promptly, I will be escalating the matter further with the manufacturer, corporate customer care, and appropriate consumer protection channels. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and works toward a fair and professional resolution.
