My husband and I ordered our 2024 Ford Maverick Hybred from Boyd Automotive in July 2023. Throughout the waiting process, Jason kept us informed of the build-status of our vehicle and was very willing to answer our questions. We received delivery of the truck on May 30th. Jason and the team were extremely helpful, made sure everything was just the way we had ordered it, took time to review the truck with us so that driving would be easy. I am the primary driver and just love it! We took off from Durham to Florida for a trip the day after delivery. The truck performed very well then, and has since. Bernard and the people in their service department take very good care of both my vehicles. We’ve been taking our vehicle here for all of our maintenance need for the last 6 years. This particular service was for a part that needed to be ordered. Bernard was able to slip me in between appointments on a Saturday, quickly and efficiently. Additionally, I appreciate the use of payment plans for those larger maintenance issues. They (routine emails and Bernard) are also great with keeping us informed about recalls and when they anticipate products will be in. I had an amazing experience with Hendrick Chevrolet Buick GMC Southpoint. Everything went so smoothly. Everyone there was very nice, polite, and attentive.  Especially Marcus Turner, he was the best salesman. He was upfront about everything, ensuring a stress-free experience throughout the  process.  Because I lived over an hour away, he emailed me a video of the 2016 Nissan Altima and all the specs. He went over all my questions and concerns.  Because they just got the car in, He guided me through the process.  This was my daughter’s 1st car, and it was dark and cold when we purchased the car, so he made sure the car was brought into the dealership so we could take pictures.  Marcus also made sure the car was cleaned and gassed up, and there was a pretty red bow on the top of it. So it would be picture perfect.  I would highly recommend this dealership and Marcus to everyone. I will definitely come back to buy another vehicle.

Worse experience I've ever had at a dealership repair shop. They took my money and didn't fix anything that was wrong with the car. All they did was a tune-up and water pump, after which the car still wasn't running, and they took $3,400 to do nothing to make the car run. I even had to take it to another mechanic for an additional $2,100 of repairs, totaling $5,500 for something that should have cost only $800. Biggest fail in the history of all repair shop fails. They think they should get a participation trophy (ie. your money) just for trying to repair your car, not actually fixing it, but just for trying. There is something wrong with that kind of thinking. It makes them unethical and not trust worthy, and they will not work with you to actually fix your car after they've done nothing to fix it but still taking your money. And they will blame you and make excuses and then do nothing but take the money and run and leave you with a car that's not fixed.
