Bought a 2008 Aston Martin DB9 Volante which 'passed PPI' - car will not pass emissions in Nevada. Carolina Exotic Cars (Carolina Cabriolet Motors) has never sent me a copy of the PPI which I have a paid receipt and invoice. Car came of the trailer with out enough gas to make it to a gas station - 1/8 mile from my home. Gas gauge is off by 65 miles. If they can pass a buck they will pass HURLE it!

This dealership has potential to be a good smaller scale place but the management responsiveness is poor. I wanted to negotiate damages on a vehicle they were selling that should have been repaired based on the vehicle’s description but there was no follow up and they may have a pattern of not doing a reasonable QC on there inventory.

So disappointed. Chris our salesman was awesome. HOWEVER... We bought a truck a week ago and every day since we bought it, something has happened. Passenger seat stopped working the next day. Trunk scraping. Noticed driver side seat doesn't heat. Next morning, truck won't start and no we did all our checks and balances to make sure we didn't leave anything on like they tried to insinuate. They told us they fully charged it. We went 3 hours from home... Now we are stranded and the truck won't start even with a jump! We've had it ONE week! This is crazy! $300 later we finally got the truck to start. The battery they assured us was okay was bad!!! Tested it 3xs at auto zone with photos to prove it!

I was on-site ready to buy a vehicle and they sold it out from under me. “ Hello Mr Nelson this is Todd from Smart Cars by Wieland the GX Lexus is out at the moment Bella let the customers take it to pre sell inspection” Sent to me moments after I called to say I was on my way with payment and insurance. I walked in the door and John looked me in the eye and said “don’t worry I was very firm with them that you were going to buy the truck”. He sent me to lunch to wait for the vehicle. John had me waiting for over 3 hours before telling me he had sold the vehicle to someone These folks lied to my face and wasted a total of 2 days and over $100 of mine. I have bought lots of cars over the years. I strongly suggest you avoid these clowns

He sent me a few videos of the car upon request with no hesitation and was extremely transparent with me about everything. Initially, I thought I was dealing with an honest car dealer who delivers anywhere in the country. Sight unseen, we agreed on pricing for the truck I wanted and the truck I had to trade. We exchanged photos, videos, etc. I was told the truck was in excellent condition - which it should be from a dealer and at a cost of $64K. Upon delivery there was a tick in the engine and the next morning the engine light came on. I called the dealer and no one called me back, I called again and was told that they would get back to me at 10am Monday... never called back. Meanwhile I took it to a local dealer and the engine light indicated the motor was blown. Luckily it was under a factory warranty. Upon complaining to the BBB in Raleigh, they said - It was in excellent condition, we will call you back. And... they still have never called me about this. Buyer beware in dealing with this dealership. Their sales manager nor their owner wouldn't even call me back. It took a month to get the new motor installed by my local RAM dealer. Either the iDeal Auto sales team and owner is dishonest or their shop that "fully inspected" the vehicle is incompetent.

I worked for Grant Jarman for three years in the 90"s selling cars. Grant and Jim work hard to buy and sale the best used car available in Greenville. I am no longer in the car business and do not live in the Greenville area . I have bought several cars from Grant over the years and have had excellent service out of all. Grant is not a mechanic ,but he is very knowledgeable about what to look for in a good used car . He would send every car to the same outside mechanic to have the cars looked at before they went on the lot . mechanical things break down even in new cars . buy a car with warranty if you do not want to be hassled by nit picky problems. most of his cars will have factory warranty anyway. They deal in quality.

Looked at a Camry, the bank wouldn't approve it to many miles, looked at a newer Toyota got approved. It pulls to the left. All the tires were low and theres black sticky stuff all over the inside back glass. Cracked taillight hole in front bumper spider web from impact in rear bumper and still cost $17,000.. just be aware of what your getting into.

The entire team of professionals were great to work with.
