This is to update my previous negative review. The dealership reached out to me to discuss my issues. They have since resolved my issues and I have to commend them on their service.

I can't thank Modern Ford In Boone, NC "ENOUGH!!" Dave Chicoine, Brian McCulley and Adam Woodard helped me when my truck started having problems. I had just dropped my granddaughter off at App State and was heading home on a 5 hour trip when I needed their help. They went way overboard to help me at a late hour (the Dealership was actually closing when I walked in) arranging for the service I needed to take place early on the next day. They even helped me get to the hotel we just booked at the last minute. I am so grateful for their kindness and understanding to help someone in need. THANK YOU! Paul Fimbel

Mooresville ford has ALWAYS done us right. Honest , Kind , Helpful and most importantly, knowledgeable. We will be back when our Maverick arrives.

I was with friends at their cabin near Bryson City last week when the "check engine" light came on in my 2014 Ford F-150. I called Mountain Ford and spoke to David the Service Mgr. He told me that they were totally booked up but to bring it by and he would see if he could fit me in. By the time my friend came to pick me up they already had my truck in front of a bay with the hood up. In less than an hour they had the problem diagnosed and a part ordered. The following afternoon I was happily on my way. The friendly folks at Mountain Ford went above and beyond to address my needs and for this they easily earned a 5-star rating.

I had my oil changed at Pittsbro Ford. I did not have a appointment ,but they worked me in. I felt a little uncomfortable in the beginning with the service but it was ok. I got my car back, the oil was changed but it was not washed like my other dealer did for me. I asked do you wash cars after service. If you want us too we will, it will be another hour before we can get to it. I understand this is a country dealer, small in size in a small town. At least they did the oil change in a prompt time with no appointment . I walked around the new car showroom. I have never seen this before. The cars on there floor were so dirty, one had pine needles on it. The sales man said that they just brought them in, do you want to trade your car. I said I had a oil change and not interested. He turned around and walked away and sat down in his office. I walked around looking at cars to pass the time and another salesman came up to me. He said what do you want to buy today. I said I was getting an oil change. He laughed and said he sold a car to a guy last week that told him that. He continued to try to sell me. I told him I was not interested. The service guy came out to us and told me I need brakes. I said I will pass. I just had my brakes done a few months ago from the ford dealer in Chapel Hill. I was ready to get out of there. Between them trying to sell me service I did not need and the salesman giving me his BS. I was ready to leave . I received phone calls from them everyday wanting me to buy a car. Messages were left about the weather , hope we were good , they are having a nice day, the sun is shining or it is raining, very strange a creepy. This went on for 2 weeks. This was my first and last visit to this dealership. I can't take anymore.

While on our family vacation last week in the OBX staying in Corolla, that Wed. 9/5 we noticed something wasn't right with our Explorer...air conditioner was blowing warm air and there was a rubber smell and odd noise. We called AAA and had it towed to the Ford dealer RD Sawyer in Manteo about an hour south of where we were staying. We were able to rent a Ford Fusion from them to use and 2 days later we picked up our Explorer with a new compressor and serpentine belt. Our Explorer is running great again. We're so very grateful that we had our car in trusted hands to get it fixed and not be taken advantage of...everyone was absolutely fabulous! Just can't say enough about the excellent service at RD Sawyer...Doc the owner, Robin, Jaurice and especially Kenny the Service Manager, what a relief and blessing to find them....and we didn't even miss a beat with our vacation! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!

My phone call to the service department was wonderful. The person who answered was most polite and professional. He had me bring my car in, he looked at it and made an appointment for the next day. However, he let me drop my car off the same day, and they looked at it that afternoon. One step fixed the problem so I could pick it up the next morning! They were great, even to the payment center. I would definitely recommend them for great service!

This is going to be lengthy, but I feel it is worth the read for anyone. For over a year now, I have been taking my Ford Explorer to a different local dealer to diagnose a noise. They told me immediately that the noise was a wheel bearing and they had it in stock on the first visit. When I left, the noise was still there. I went back immediately and they said that my "tires were shot". Three days later I notice the wheel, where the repair was just completed, to be dripping with grease. I took it back in and they told me (after 3 days) that the axle shaft was broken.... after picking it up from that repair, the noise was still there. I was advised that I still needed to replace my tires and to get an alignment. After the alignment and new tires, the noise was not only still there, it was worse... and even worse, the vehicle pulled to the right and the steering wheel was not straight. I took it back and had a second alignment done and was assured that it was fixed, but it wasn't... it just kept getting worse. Now, the vehicle drove crooked down the road in addition to the steering wheel and now worse noise. Being completely devastated and at my wits end, I drove just a tad farther to Scenic Ford Lincoln. I had about an hour conversation with the assistant manager of service and scheduled an appointment for the next week. After that appointment, My Explorer is FIXED and drives/rides like a new car, and the noise is gone! I cannot begin to tell you how welcoming and resolving this experience was with Scenic Ford! They have earned my business and I will continue to visit them for my routine maintenance needs and repairs! I have found my new Ford dealer, who does not pass me off like just another number in line!

I brought my F150 to the service department to be fixed. They lied about what was done then the manager swore to it. I kept my voice down and spoke kindly to the manager on the phone. Since he had no way of justifying his employees’ actions, he hung up on me. If you want to be ripped off, then take your vehicles to this place to have it serviced. Then you will have to take it to another service department that knows how to fix vehicles. I wouldn't recommend their service department to work on a bicycle, much less my vehicle. All your lying will not go unnoticed and will eventually catch up to you. The BBB will be aware of how unethical this business is.

I couldn't be happier with the work i received at Stott's. We are rv'ing around the states and needed work done on the van. I was reluctant to go to a dealership but boy was i wrong! Their service was kind, professional and they went above and beyond to fix a fairly mysterious problem. I cannot recommend them enough! It is not often a mechanics garage can be so reassuring and helpful. They genuinely care. Got vehicle trouble, don't think twice and take your vehicle here. Hardworking and honest and more than reasonable. If we are ever in the Carolina's again we wouldn't hesitate travelling 500+ miles to use them again! Everyone we dealt with was fantastic!
