I called Fairway Ford after my car had major transmission failure ON the Southport ferry. I was leaving the next day to start my return trip to NY. They were so understanding and great to deal with. They got me in the next morning! I had called many other Ford Dealers that were not at all helpful. They had the parts necessary and repaired my car the next morning. I made it back to NY safely without losing much of my vacation. I am so thankful!

My daughter had her ford edge towed to Hastings Ford for a brake issue. It took nearly 4 weeks to fix. $1880.00 for brake repair, which is extreme plus $1200.00 for car rental. Total $3080.00. We learned the reason it took so long is they don't have staff to do the work. We wish they had told us that 4 weeks ago. The service at this place is a really bad joke. We will never ever buy from or take anything for service to Hastings again. I would not recommend Hastings Ford service to anyone. You have been warned.

I would like to thank the service manager (don't know his name but he was a big man and I met him about 8:30 am 11/23/22). He was very polite and helpful. He thanked me for my military service opened the car door for me as I was leaving.The service dept. put on a new air bag in a very short time and I was on my way. Most employees spoke to me as I passed by. This dealership is much nicer than Cloninger Ford in Salisbury. I am now thru with Cloninger Ford. Their people will not do anything for the customer and are actually rude. Especially the internet sales dept. and some service managers. James Simpson

I have been a customer of Lee Motor Company for many years having purchased six new or used vehicles and have been totally satisfied with their entire staff. I have always been treated with respect and fairness from the Sales staff to the Service Department staff. I will continue to conduct my business with Lee Motor Company as long as this is true. Not only have I received excellent service for both my vehicle's, I have always been greeted by everyone with courtesy and appreciation for my business up to and including Mr. John Lee who made it a point to personally speak to me thanking me for my business and offering his personal help. I received this same courtesy from Tim Varnell and Larry Lassiter all on my most recent visit for service to my vehicle.

I brought my truck in for the standard ford works plus a few more tasks I asked them to do. I was told that they would give me a call to update me once they know a time line. They had my truck for 6hrs before I called for a timeline check myself. I was told they still had no idea what needed to be done (I left a list with them in the morning). When they finally called me to tell me my truck was complete, I came to pick up my truck and was informed that the only thing they completed was the basic ford works and not everything else I requested. They didn’t fill out the inspection checklist so they had to pull my truck back in and inspect it again that took 20 more minutes. They also did not top off all my fluids, did not flash my computer system like I requested, did not fix my USB ports like I requested, and also did not fix my onboard compass like I requested. Service did not communicate with me at all throughout the day. They had my truck for an entire day and accomplished the bare minimum. Coming from someone who has worked at a ford dealership and has a father who has ran/managed multiple dealerships, I know what the level of service should be. This was a very poor experience. I still need everything else I requested to be fixed. I went to Leith because I just moved to Knightdale and I am looking for a new home dealership for service and possible future purchases. - Harley Davidson

Truck started running rough and check engine light comes on. I stopped by a local auto parts store and had the codes read. Four different codes showed up. At just under 93,000 miles I had four coils go out and a Oxygen sensor. Lum's Ford service department, parts department, rentals and Mr. Edwards were great and made you feel that your business was appreciated and that you are a valued customer. After getting my vehicle back I took it on a one hundred mile trip and my MPG was 24.2 with speeds from 35 MPH to 70 MPH. That was better that when the vehicle was brand new. My F 150 is a 2011 supercrew 4x2 with a 5.0 V8. I have been a satisfied Lum's Ford customer for almost four years now.
