My daughter needed to replace her car that was recently totaled in an accident. Car shopping with her is not an easy thing to do - I was happy her first car lasted 11 years. I did a lot of research online and found that Hertz Car Sales in Smithtown had an excellent selection and very good prices. We arrived at the dealership and began walking around the lot, looking for the cars we saw online. Joe came out and introduced himself and asked if we had any questions, he was there to help. No pressure at all during the entire visit. I told him our budget, and he began showing us all the cars we could afford. My daughter was becoming a little overwhelmed with all the choices, so Joe backed off and let her and I talk about the different options. We narrowed it down to a few cars, and Joe shared his extensive knowledge of the cars and showed us the differences between our choices. He offered to let us test drive as many cars as we wanted to. We decided on a Kia Forte and took it for a ride. My daughter liked it and we decided to purchase it. Joe made the purchase process quick and painless. No hidden dealer charges or fees kept the price well within our budget. When the time comes for me or my wife to purchase a car, we will definitely return to Hertz Car Sales in Smithtown..

I had the best experience buying my first car at Performance Auto (and I'm in my 30s...). Sean was patient, kind, helpful and was phenomenally service-oriented. They went out of their way to provide great service (ie picking me up from the train, answering all of my questions, taking the car to the manufacturer to have the recalls closed out, etc), and were phenomenally easy to work with. Their pricing was transparent - they do not charge any of the hidden fees that other used car dealers typically surprise you with - and negotiating with them was fair and fact based. I would highly recommend working with them again!

Owner is rude and obnoxious to deal with - Not worth the risk, look for a car anywhere but here - do your homework - long history of same story over and over -it's out there folks - just sayin :) $13,600 car didn't even make it home off the lot. Paid $5,600 in repairs in order to obtain a LEGAL Inspection Sticker. As I get so many compliments on my car now, happy to pay extra for the huge car magnets letting people know just where and who screwed me over PAUL ROBERTS, works like a charm!

When we first visited Nick and told him what we wanted he said we wouldn't be able to afford it without even checking how much money we could put down or even looking at our credit score. We were almost temped to go all the way to osan to order a car than go through with Nick. We finally got Nick to order us the car WE wanted. To top it all off Nick had our car shipped to the wrong location so now we have to go out of our way to obtain our vehicle. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Some of the emails I asked him about in person were old emails that he just sends out to customers. Multiple times I asked him for information on our order and he didn't even have an answer for us. I had to contact the corporate office who then emailed me the information the next day. This vehicle purchase was a big hassle and i will advised others to not inquire about a vehicle from him.

They will make you travel all the way to their dealership text you all day to see if you are on your way constantly and you show them your location as proof you are traveling 2 hours to get to them and they will go ahead and sell a vehicle you are coming to see without letting you know that it has been sold what so ever and then once you get there they try to fool you into another vehicle be the one you were interested

When my 12 year old HONDA ACCORD V6 started giving me problems I looked into leasing a new Honda. My father and my husband insisted I get All Wheel Drive. I called several dealers about the HONDA CRV and was told it would cost a lot/too much per month. I wanted ALL WHEEL DRIVE with LEATHER INTERIOR for LESS So I called ABIE BAKSHI. He gave me great advice, "If you're not stuck on the Honda, go with the NISSAN ROGUE." I'm not into cars so I had never heard of it before. No other dealer had suggested the ROGUE to me. It's two weeks later and I'm driving a gorgeous brand new 2016 Nissan Rogue for $70 LESS PER MONTH than the Honda CRV. That's an AWESOME DEAL! It drives beautifully and what's more is I got everything I wanted from Black leather interior, Blue Tooth, CAMERAS, Navigation to Unbelievable Trunk Space for my work materials ( I'm a therapist doing home-care so that's really important) heated seats with lumbar support and so much more... ALL WITHOUT EXCEEDING MY BUDGET! Abie delivered the car to my door and spent quite a bit of time going over every single feature/gadget in the car with me. Felice showed us several cars that my wife was not excited about, so he said he would call us in a couple of days if he found something she might like. He called her and said he was holding a new trade-in that had just come in. My wife was ecstatic about it and Felice worked wit James and made sure the financing met our needs.
