I called to have my tranmission fluid changed. Made the appointment. Got there and they said I was having a flush. I said the appointment was for fluid change not a flush. The service manager convinced me a flush was the best way to go, so I agreed to it. He gave me a coupon for $40.00 off which I appreciate . I ask him to have some one change my oil filter, which I supplied. He said ok. Very nice man. There was also a recall on the lower front bumper, for clips and fasteners. So after 3 hours of waiting we received the car and went home. The ride home was concerning, the brakes had a shutter and the ride was definitely different. You hear all sorts of things about dealership practices and you don't want to believe it. But I wonder if any of it's true? The tranmission seems ok , but I am going to find another dealership or auto mechanic to inspect the front end. The brakes are fine , I inspected them 2 week ago. It's like the nut on the tie rod was moved. Any out there experience any weird situations like this?

This shop does by far the best quality work. They're honest, highly skilled, and the best in the business. If you want something done the right way, whether it be mechanical work or body work, then this is the place for you. They are experts with high end makes and I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else.

I brought my 2007 Prius for a routine brake actuator replacement. On the day of my appointment I show up to their service department. They tell me they don't show an appointment for me. I then show them their business card with the appointment date and time written by them. They then take my car in. A week later I get my car back. After paying $3000 plus for parts and labor they pull my car out. I immediately see the warning light illuminating on the dashboard indicating a problem with my hybrid battery system. I inquire the service manager about the warning light. He tells me that due to the age of my car, the hybrid battery failed and that I would need to pay to have it fixed. I never had an issue with my hybrid system so I'm very skeptical about the manager explanation. I tried getting an answer from Toyota corporate and their customer service, but nobody can explain why I wasn't told about my battery problem before they started working on the brake actuator. I would had never authorized their service department to continue working on my brakes if they would had told me that I had a major issue with the hybrid battery.

First I want to say that this is a retraction from a previous review that I removed after the Dealerships immediate response. I originally brought my Prius to Riverhead Toyota with a 12 volt battery problem that in all fairness was installed by another out of state dealership. After speaking with the Service Department Manager Mike Hamill about my issue, Mike decided to give me a new replacement battery even though he knew he would not be reimbursed by Toyota Corporate. That's right THEY ATE THE COST !!!How often do you hear of that happening ??? This gesture on Mike's part immediately changed my bad feeling about the dealership that I had grown to love before this issue. They once again have a very satisfied customer that will be returning for service ,parts and a new Prius in the future. After all don't we all just want to be appreciated and treated fairly as loyal customers ??? Mike made it right and I appreciate his efforts. Thank you Mike for being a gentleman and appreciating your customers. Not EVERYONE does.

f it’s up to me I will give them zero starts. I have the worst service experience. My 2016 Senta Fe had an engine replaced recently from this place. When I went to pick up my car after the engine replacement my driver side mirror was damaged, My car had scratches all over and there was rear bumper damage. And this is not the first time this happened to my car. My car got hit 3 times in there dealership. The staff, service rep, manager is clueless. The dealership doesn’t provide with any loaner vehicle. I am paying for Uber and Lyft everyday to go to work and the dealership is not reimbursing me. It’s been more then 3 months I spend over $2000 in commute and they still have my car. After the engine replacement I didn’t get to test drive the car. The new manager is so unprofessional and he have no idea what’s going on at the dealership. Every time I ask him questions he tells me I will speak to my higher authorities and never gets back to me. When I saw the damages on my car The new manager refused to fix it and he started blaming all the damages on me then the service rep brought in the paperwork which showed when I dropped the car at there dealership it had no damages at all. When I asked the new manager to give me a copy of that document he said I will email you the copy by 5pm I called him back and he said I can’t give you a copy it’s legal document. After reviewing the paperwork he tells me that we will fix the car but the way he said it it sounded like he was doing a favor to me. The old manager was so nice and helpful I think his name was Peter. He always helped me with my concerns. I reported my concern to the Hyundai case manager and there dealership in Bayside.

My visit was as usual, quite a pleasure..the waiting area is clean and comfortable, with snacks and free hot coffee. the staff is always friendly and professional. They get you in and out as quickly as possible. My agent was especially nice, Mr. Sutton, who is especially knowledgeable, kept me posted on the work that was done on my car.. He even brought it to my attention of a problem that was pre-existing from the installation of my auto start.. I recommend this location to all my friends. It's the best!

On Monday 6/17/2024 I stopped by for a state inspection and oil change for my 2020 Sienna that I brought from this dealer. First, the lady in the service desk told me that state inspection is no longer free since I did not stop by exactly within one year. Last year I was there on June 3rd or 4th this year on 17th. Even though I clearly remember that I was told during buying the car that state inspection will be free for life time! I asked the lady I would like someone to show me how to get my spare tire (it is underneath the car somewhere) since no one showed me during buying. The gentleman next to her on the service counter told me I do not have spare tire but my tires are run flat. I was doubtful and still requested to double check. After inspection she told me I need two new front tires to pass the inspection. She still claimed I have run flat tires. I left and I went to a tire only garage in Ronkonkoma. They showed me my spare tire underneath back of the passenger seat and categorically told me I have regular tires. I replced the front tires and got my new inspection sticker (from another garage). I do not think I will ever go back to Sunrise Toyota North for sevicing again!
