Jim in the service department made sure that I was - Thomas1
Jim in the service department made sure that I was satisfied with the brakes after replacement (at about 27k miles). Unlike the entire life of the OEM rotors and pads, the new ones made some awful noises usually in the mornings on first light braking. So a few weeks later they replaced the pads they just put in with superior pads (which I would have opted for in the first place -- it sounded like it is actually impossible to get OEM pads/rotors -- but thought that's what I was getting from the dealer).
Of course at just one day after the new install, I cannot tell if these will be better ultimately, but I hope these new ones prove better. By far. In any case, Jim and his team were determined to make sure they did as good a job as they could do -- for free and not under warranty, but as a good-service move. I applaud them for that, and they have earned respect.
