I bought my Lexus July 2017. - taylor6darleen
I bought my Lexus July 2017. I was diligent in having it serviced at the suggested time. It was usually twice a year. I had no problems and trusted the service agent would suggest all the work that needed to be done according to mileage. In April of 2024, I had a problem. My carpets were wet, and my radio amplifier did not work. The problem was clogged sunroof drains. It flooded my car. I was handed an estimate of $8,821.93 for carpet, padding, mold, and amplifier. I have looked over all my invoices for 7 years. Not once did they clean the drains or inform me that I needed to do it. It was not in the owner's manual. I spent $5,865.36 at that dealership for service in those 7 years. I sold the car at a loss and got a Nissan. I am so disappointed because I loved that car. Just a warning about checking your sunroof drains. The agents should take note.
