If I could give this dealership a 0, I would. - LArquette821
If I could give this dealership a 0, I would. Let me preface by stating that I own a 2019 HYUNDAI Tucson from the Transit Rd. dealership and since I left the lot, I have had NUMEROUS issues with it. I have been at this dealership far too many times and my vehicle is only a 2019 with LESS THAN 60,000 miles.
I bought this car expecting much more reliability. I have brought this vehicle into the service department numerous times and it's caused us a massive headache each experience we've had. The service managers seem to be the only ones who try and make things right, most likely to try and retain business, but nonetheless, they are very pleasant.
The last service appointment I had prior to this one was for a faulty starter. I tried to explain this to the girl on the phone, then again when I dropped it off, and AGAIN to one of the mechanics/ technicians. No one seemed to listen to me, yet, I paid my deductible and I went on my way. Well, we get a phone call to pick it up and the car would not start! It was almost comedic! They went outside to look at the car, came back in and a manager reluctantly told ME it was the starter. I looked at him and laughed saying "I know that- I was the one who told you that when I brought it in the first time! I also told you how the wires were sparking every time it wasn't catching under the hood." They ended up taking the car back, giving me a rental and replacing the starter like it very clearly needed. Again, management tries to make it right... the point is, start ACTIVELY LISTENING to your customers.
This most recent service issue was yet again, a complete hassle and a waste of our time and our money as well!
-Number 1- the warranty company you sold us is absolute garbage... so much so, that we had to make the decision to take the vehicle elsewhere to get fixed (at a MUCH lower cost, might I add!).
-Number 2- Your technician broke the retaining clip for the wiring harness to the ignition coil while "completing" the Diagnostic Inspection, WHICH WE PAID $189.00 for!!
All in all, we are undoubtedly unhappy with the overall purchase and service of this vehicle. I think we have given West Herr and Hyundai MULTIPLE chances and a good chunk of money over the years and for what...? We already have such limited time and like everyone else in 2025- we work very hard to provide for our family. Please make this right.
