This is the most dishonest and worst place to go! I bought a car there and they wouldn't even give it to me for the price it went on sale for! On their website they posted! I had put a deposit on that car and they were supposed to hold it and without notice put it for sale again and even lowered the price after they had my thousands of dollars... online (though the sale was a lie, it was just to bring in business because it was not honored for me). Beware of Rich Colburn (salesman), and Shaun Gleason (service advisor), the mechanics lie when they are too lazy or can't figure out what's wrong and just make up what's wrong, and if you take it back they will tell you it's something completely different. I used to trust them so much with my vehices but, they are so unprofessional they didnt even put things back together they took apart and still returned my car to me writing lies on my bill for hundreds..well for hundreds you put things back together...and I have spent thousands upon thousands there but, they descriminate against older vehicles and make up lies to cover their xxx as to why they won't work on them, branding the owner and vehicle because they don't know how to fix classic cars, they have no knowledge of them, no training and are too lazy to troubleshoot. They would rather fabricate problems and lie through their teeth. The whole service staff is incompetent, oozing with inexperience and corrupt. You can't inspect a vehicle at their high standards then turn around two months later and say it isn't safe when it just passed their high standards and the reason is ridiculous because the car is completely redone and certain non issues have been that way for 20 years. How can they pass it and then turn around and say it isn't safe, in the same condition two months later? If they actually believed their lies... the condition didn't change over two months so that means they would have passed it not being safe two months beforehand and should lose their licence, which I have proof they passed it and then said it wasn't safe with no changes in condition in those TWO MONTHS (which I can also prove)...which I'm reporting to NYS. They are pieces of xxxx, dishonest as can be ever since Tracy Woods left...they are nothing but, incompetence. Don't ever be nieve enough to believe a word they tell you or spend a penny there. Their dishonesty outshines their company name. The kids at Boces are more trustworthy an knowledgible than them! Trust me. And don't buy a car there, you will pay far more than it's value, as they mark their vehicles far above market value and will barely take a penny off the price. I did because I was foolish enough to trust them. Their salesmen are high pressured, the service people push repairs not needed at unreasonable pretentious prices, and the office staff are bubbleheads. The salesmen and service people aren't much smarter. I urge you don't get ripped off, stay away and don't waste thousands at this corrupted business!! Just because they will make up any excuse not to work on your vehicle....and know nothing about how to fix cars, it won't stop them from charging you hundreds for nothing, such as replacing a gas cap or fuse at premium over priced prices!! They also descriminate against women and the LGBT community! WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE TO AVOID. Being corrupt since 1982 ripping people off and stealing from customers Rick Bokman Inc. Now at more than one location from all their corrupt practices to make money to expand to rip off more than just one county or city. 🙌👎...was looking for a new car....definitely WON'T EVER give them my business again. I hope you don't either.

Paul Roberts puts a bogus Inspection Sticker on his cars and thinks he can convince me 2 other certified mechanics are lying??? $13,600 Audi cost me $5,600 out of pocket to get legal Inspection Sticker - piece of crap didn't even make it home from lot!!! BEWARE LADIES, Very rude and obnoxious to deal with - has obvious issues :) Complained to my husband I was in a drunken stupor? LOL What a pig.

f it’s up to me I will give them zero starts. I have the worst service experience. My 2016 Senta Fe had an engine replaced recently from this place. When I went to pick up my car after the engine replacement my driver side mirror was damaged, My car had scratches all over and there was rear bumper damage. And this is not the first time this happened to my car. My car got hit 3 times in there dealership. The staff, service rep, manager is clueless. The dealership doesn’t provide with any loaner vehicle. I am paying for Uber and Lyft everyday to go to work and the dealership is not reimbursing me. It’s been more then 3 months I spend over $2000 in commute and they still have my car. After the engine replacement I didn’t get to test drive the car. The new manager is so unprofessional and he have no idea what’s going on at the dealership. Every time I ask him questions he tells me I will speak to my higher authorities and never gets back to me. When I saw the damages on my car The new manager refused to fix it and he started blaming all the damages on me then the service rep brought in the paperwork which showed when I dropped the car at there dealership it had no damages at all. When I asked the new manager to give me a copy of that document he said I will email you the copy by 5pm I called him back and he said I can’t give you a copy it’s legal document. After reviewing the paperwork he tells me that we will fix the car but the way he said it it sounded like he was doing a favor to me. The old manager was so nice and helpful I think his name was Peter. He always helped me with my concerns. I reported my concern to the Hyundai case manager and there dealership in Bayside.

Was told I had a recall, came in for state inspection my car was ready at the exact time the service man told me. I like that so many time at a other dealer I waited for over two hours for a simple oil change.

A very bad experience - favored1

On a long distance road trip our 2004 Volkswagen Touareg broke down on a Friday in Maryland. We had it towed to a dealer in Virginia which was the closest dealer to a friend of ours where we would stay the night because we had no way to get home. The dealer was Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles. They couldn’t look at the car until Tuesday, it took until Wednesday for us to find out what was wrong with the car. They claimed they were calling us and we didn’t receive any calls. We recorded our phone number numerous times with them (which was still not correct on the work order when we picked up the car). We were informed that both gas pumps needed to be replaced. We were quoted a price and told them to go ahead and do the job. When we picked up the car on June 24th 2015 the bill was significantly higher than what was quoted. The service advisor didn’t quote us the tax and the manager ended up waiving that. My husband asked them if the filter was changed when the gas pumps were replaced because we were concerned about contaminated gas. We were told “yes that is part of the pump”. We drove back to NYC that night. On August 30th 2015 I was alone in the car with our infant son and the car looses power as I’m driving down the highway. Thankfully I got off the highway safely before it died and once it stopped it wouldn’t restart. We had it towed to Bayside Volkswagen here in Great Neck, NY. We were called and told that both gas pumps needed to be replaced. We showed them that this was already done in June and were told by David Nosovsky that they don’t honor VW’s warranty from another VW dealer. He showed my husband a work order and if my husband had re-paid for the same job they would’ve replaced the gas pumps with no question. He stated that the invoice from Lindsay VW didn’t list the falange and that they always change it when the pumps are replaced. We called Paul Boots at Lindsay VW who called them and explained these are under warranty and that they should be replaced as such. Paul Boots also communicated to me that they don’t replace falanges and that it’s an up charge to the customer that isn’t necessary. David then calls my husband to have him authorize 5 hours of diagnostic testing to “make sure” it’s really the gas pumps. We refused to authorize such charges as it was $130.00 an hour for their time. The only manager available at Bayside that day was Charlie the parts manager who spoke with me and after researching the incident called and stated Bayside would eat the cost of the diagnostic testing. Calls were made to Paul Boots again and Jerrey Holloway at Lindsay VW. The next day I get a call informing me that it was a loose hose which they re-connected and that Lindsay VW was covering the cost of the work. Nothing was replaced. On Friday October 9th, 2015 the Touareg stalls in the middle of an intersection and failed to start again, with our family in it. It took 8 men to help push it out of the intersection into a safe place. We had it towed back to Bayside VW. When we got a call on Tuesday they informed us the gas pumps failed and one needed to be replaced. This time they would contact VW to cover it under warranty. They stated the falange HAD to be replaced and the cost was over $500.00. They stated it cannot be used again as the hose will not reconnect to it. I called Paul Boots at Lindsay VW and he stated they won’t be responsible for anything needing repair. I called the VW customer advocate line and got a case #. The next day I heard nothing so we called Bayside VW and negotiated that we would pay the part but not labor. They agreed. The VW customer advocate called late that day and stated that unfortunately they can’t hold Lindsay VW responsible for the work they did. Even though it’s obvious it wasn’t done right when the car died twice with confirmation of the same issue they “fixed”. When I picked up the vehicle, the invoice stated falange/filter. This is the part we paid for. There are no filters in the pumps. The Filter is housed in the falange. We were told this was replaced when we picked up the car from Lindsay VW and it was not. All of these problems occurred due to an insufficient repair. And the only person that has suffered is our family, being stuck twice when the gas pumps failed, having paid to tow it multiple times and being without our car for a week each time. No one has tried to right this wrong and I am utterly disappointed in VW service and workmanship.
