My previously spotless and dent-free 2-year-old car had - Oktie
My previously spotless and dent-free 2-year-old car had five dents when I went to it pick up after a recent repair at Presitge Imports. No one informed me about this damage. They hadn’t even bothered to clean the repair spot or remove the residue of the tape they had used while having me wait for a part. When I pointed out the dents, there was no apology, but the service advisor Rosemarie Brancaccio promised to have them fixed. It took numerous calls and several attempts to finally secure an appointment for the repair, and as usual, there was no loaner car provided. The result was very disappointing: only two of the dents were fixed, and now there was new damage to the molding around the tire. Again, there was no acknowledgement or apology. This time, Rosemarie accused me of lying, adding insult to injury. Fortunately, I had taken pictures and videos every time I brought my car in for repair, making it easy to prove that the damage occurred at the dealership. The dents are all around the repair area, likely caused by the improper use of a tool to fix the charger cover. Rosemarie asked me to email her the pictures and she will show them to the service manager when the manager arrives. I did email her right away but have not heard back. I have not seen or been able to talk to a manager all this time.
I always found Prestige a nice friendly local dealership unlike any other dealership I had dealt with. I now truly regret trusting them for service.
I’ve reached out to VW Customer Care and will update my review if anything changes. Not very hopeful though.
I hope this review helps someone.
