I genuinely thought good Jeep service here was a myth, - Alex
I genuinely thought good Jeep service here was a myth, until I met Luis Rivera at Jeep of Manhattan.
Called over the weekend - a real human answered. No bot maze. Got a next-morning appointment ...had to double check if I heard correctly.
Showed up - Luis was there, professional, and actually listening. Took detailed notes, confirmed everything, and (this part shocked me) gave me his cell so I could send videos of a hard-to-reproduce issue.
Other dealerships wouldn’t even try.
He coordinated directly with the technician so nothing got lost in translation (which is usually where problems go to die).
Other dealerships: “Could not reproduce.”
Luis: “Let’s actually figure this out.”
Updates were clear, technical, and on time.
My car was fixed faster than it usually takes other places just to start looking at it.
Pickup day - I’m expecting my usual salt-covered winter artifact.
Nope. Car comes out clean, washed, and I actually had a moment of “I forgot this is what the color looks like.”
End result: smooth, transparent, stress-free.
Again - NYC. Jeep dealership. Yes, really!
Luis Rivera didn’t just provide service—he restored faith.
Jeep should clone him… or at least send every other service department to train under him.
