This was the best experience that I have had in over 50 years of buying cars. They were fair to me and I got the truck that I wanted. I got an awesome trade with none of the haggling that I have had in the past that ruins the pleasure of having a new car. I will also be getting it serviced there which I have not done in the past. Having Tyler, a veteran, was awesome. He answered all my questions and added to the experience. I am still smiling 2 weeks later and have been showing off my new truck and where I got it. I was looking online for several weeks looking for a new F150 when I came across the one with everything I wanted. I decided to go buy on a Sunday around 3pm. i walked in and met Mike " Salty" Saltman. I can't say enough about how relaxing and pleasant the environment and the experience was. Mike was great, very knowledgeable. Stayed past closing to make sure I had all the information I needed. I picked my new truck up two days later. The finance experience was excellent and fast also. It was my first visit to Salem Ford, and it won't be my last. Thanks Mike!

The 'dealership' overall id probably give a 3.5 rating . I didn't appreciate being sold a car less than 6 months ago and having to bring it in for repair for the SAME thing a month after buying it . I also didn't appreciate that instead of them taking the responsibility to cover repairs they charged me through my warranty .

8/21/2025. I entered the dealership and was met at the door and connected with Anthony the sales representative. My challenge to Anthony was I purchased a car three weeks earlier in under two hours, and I wanted to be in and driving away with a New F350 that Saturday at 2 pm in under 3 hours. Anthony started the timer on his cell phone. Anthony showed me four F350 and covered the details of each indepth and focused on my needs as a buyer. During the process, Anthony shared his prior military service with me. I was dealing with a fellow veteran. With Anthony’s help, I decided which F350 was right for me….in 43 minutes according to Anthony’s phone. We quickly agreed on a price and began the paperwork prep process which took 75 min. We finalized documentation while the vehicle was gassed and prepped. Anthony surrender the keys to me after pulling my new ride up to the front door, washed and warming up. I passed along my appreciation to Anthony and the Sales Manager for the prompt, courteous and streamlined service they provided over the past 2:40 h. Anthony at McFarland Ford in Exeter NH, Thank you again for a great buying experience and helping me locate the 2025 F350 that left the factory with my name on it!

This is, without a doubt, the best experience one could hope for when in search of a new or used car.The moment we arrived, instead of being "attacked" by a swarm of sales people, we were warmly greeted by Chu Lassor, who encouraged us to take our time and look around and that she would be right there, should we have any questions. No pressure, no sales pitches, she just gave us the chance to look at the extensive inventory on our own. We found a few semi-finalists and then sat with Chu. She offered knowledgeable info about color choices, trim levels and was just so great at helping us to find the vehicle that was perfect and the Sales Mgr. was just as polite and easy going and it was clear that this was a family atmosphere where they are not just trying to make a sale. It is worth the drive from anywhere to actually be treated like a friend and now I know why and how Hampton Ford Hyundai earns so many 5 star reviews, so here's one more. Today I called Lebanon Ford about new Ford Edge availability since I was coming from 90 miles away. As promised the vehicle was there and ready for me to test drive. I arrived at 2:30pm and test drove the car while they inspected my potential trade in. The new car was exactly what I wanted and their trade in offer was in line with book plus they offered me incredibly good financing. By 5:30pm all the paperwork and transfers had been done and I was on the road home. I hate to waste time so by God if felt good to deal with professionals.

Thank you Ann for responding to my post and I can appreciate the situation regarding specialty vehicles. But, I think you need to look at this from another perspective. Joe customer spends several hours shopping and building a vehicle within a specific budget and gets a MSRP. Now Joe understands its a "suggested" retail price and may differ from the actual price. But when "Joe Customer" brings this MSRP to the dealership he's told he can't purchase this vehicle at that price but has to pay 5,10 or 15k above said MSRP. Sounds a little like a bait and switch doesn't it? I find it unethical and not being truly honest with your customers. I did find a local dealer that will sell me this vehicle at MSRP. They don't feel the need to take advantage of their customers that way. I think thats exactly whats you're doing. Is that 5or10k you make on this one vehicle worth losing potential customers in the future. Just because you can charge more do you really think you should? Personally I think you need to reevaluate how you do business concerning these types of vehicles.

Drove 50 minutes and was informed today's appointment was only a "Test Drive" and that I'd have schedule the repair once confirmed by the technician - I couldn't just leave it with them. No thanks. I'll wait for my local dealership who are backlogged but communicate with me and tell me what to expect.

On 11/1/2024 my 2024 F-150 XLT 3. - Nate G

On 11/1/2024 my 2024 F-150 XLT 3.5L EcoBoost was towed to Ford of Claremont due to it breaking down and Ford of Claremont being the closest dealership within 50 miles. They assessed my truck and found that there was a Technical Service Bulletin for the turbo/intake on the 3.5L EcoBoost. Ethan in the Service Department at Ford of Claremont refused to provide me with a loaner vehicle stating that they did not have inventory. I explained that my truck broke down 3.5 hours from my house and I need a vehicle to get home, conduct my daily functions, including going to and from work, as well as caring for my 2.5 year old child. Ethan in the Service department refused to provide me with a loaner vehicle. I explained that I'm aware that any vehicle on their lot can be put into loaner status and he stated that wasn't true. I also explained that Ford has the ability to provide a rental car through Enterprise car rental if they do not have inventory and he stated he'd never heard that before. This repair was covered under warranty, and I was entitled to a loaner, Ford of Claremont refused to provide one for me. My Ford Customer Advocate called Ford of Claremont on 11/4 and directed them to provide me with a loaner, they refused. I picked up my vehicle on 11/15/2024 and attempted to drive it home on 11/16. I made it 35 miles and it broke down again, with the same issues that I had on 11/1. When I called Ford of Claremont on 11/16, the service department was closed and I spoke to someone in sales. He suggested that I drive the vehicle (that was broken down) to Grappone Ford in Concord, and that was the only help he would offer. Ford of Claremont did not take care of me as a Ford customer, they created substantial hardship and stress for refusing to provide me with a loaner or rental while they worked on my vehicle. I had to pay $300.00 to a friend to drive me back to Maine on 11/3, pick me up on 11/15 to get my vehicle in NH and then pick me up in NH again and bring me to Maine when it broke down on 11/16.

I worked with Harold JR and he couldn't have been more helpful through the car buying process. I bought a new Explorer and they didn't have the one I wanted on the lot, so they were able to get me the vehicle I wanted in just a few days. Harold was pleasant, patient and professional through the buying process. I have been back for regular service check ups and their team is efficient and does a nice job! I would highly recommend going to M&M Ford in Epsom, NH!
