At one time, Cornhusker Toyota was a great place to have - Jdpower
At one time, Cornhusker Toyota was a great place to have my Highlander serviced. That ended about 2 years ago. I had to replace some failed tire pressure monitors which took 2 trips as the mechanic couldn’t find all the failed ones before the end of his day. OK - understandable. On another occasion, they replaced the rear brakes and they howled quite badly. I took the car back and was told that they could not find a problem. I later took the car to a local mechanic who fixed it, and told me he had never seen such a poor brake repair. I was not going to use Cornhusker again, however, I had seen that Woohouse had taken over the dealership. OK, I thought, maybe they have improved. First, the guy at the service desk was too busy on his PC to acknowledge my presence. Finally, he took my car keys while acting like I somehow ruined his day. I had to replace a broken sun visor and a torn center console cover - $630. Not Woodhouse's fault. However, before I got the car home, the Check Engine and the Trac Off light came on, and the cruise control stopped working. Whether bad luck or not, there is no point in continually doing business where you come home unsatisfied with the work done. Maybe in the future, Woodhouse will get the mess in that dealership cleaned up. I certainly wish them the best. However, I will be taking my car elsewhere for the foreseeable future.
