Horrible dealership. Bought a truck from there. The owner painted over the rust! He must have paid someone to pass the inspection, because the next year....it didn't pass! Tried to hike the cost up when we had agreed on a price! What wasn't wrong with it. Then accused us of wrecking our old car the night before. Nope! Shop at your own risk!! If I could rank them a zero I would!

Found a 60k mile F-350 at the local Ford dealer and they had Loen and crew at Burkholder Truck Sales install the running boards and wheel simulators. I also had to get a fifth-wheel hitch and mud flaps installed. Per the company, I was leasing on with, I needed mud flaps but they had no specs listed for the proper height in the initial paperwork but the day after the installation of the mud flaps I found they could be no more than 6 inches from the ground. I called Leon first thing that Saturday morning (they close at Noon) to have them adjusted. He worked to remove and re-install them for an hour and a half and only charged me a minimal additional charge. Great place to have accessories installed and purchase virtually any towing need you may have at a fair price. Just good people to do business with.

I depend on my vehicle every day and when I need service, Don Kahan Chevrolet is the only dealer in the Kansas City Metropoliotan area that keeps "down time" a minimum for me.<br><br>Their service department is the very best I've ever seen. My wife and I purchased a 2001 Chevrolet Venture LT Minivan new from this dealership and I will definately go back when it comes time to purchase my next new vehicle. The service department at Don Kahan Chevrolet sets the standard by which all other dealerships are judged.<br><br>And just because they are a smaller size dealership, that doesn't mean that they won't compete right up there with the larger GM dealerships. NO HASSLE is the words for this place. Just friendly people who remember who you are LONG after the sale is over.

I purchased a good Taurus from them in Feb 2015. The car broke down 3 days after purchase. I was told as is I would have to pay for repairs. They told me they put a new transmission in for $1200.00. I paid them, I put the transaction on my debit card. Transmission goes out AGAIN IN 34 DAYS! NO WARRANTY ON THE NEW TRANSMISSION! THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE. I took the Taurus to another mechanic they told me it was an used transmission to start with. I was furious. I demanded my money back, they refused and then after 4 more days they repossessed my vehicle claiming I did not maintain full coverage insurance. The reason I did not have insurance is because the xxxx thing didn't run!

BEWARE!! - DAKOTA MERLINO

I bought a Dodge Ram van from this dealer and was reassured it had been checked and has no issues. He even went out of his way to say ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, NO LIGHTS, NOTHING! The control arm has some ghetto welding job done that snapped a few months down the road, very expensive fix. The check engine bulb was ripped off the cluster board so that it didn't pop up when people were checking out the van. It was not just removed, it was literally ripped out so the entire cluster board had to be replaced. (Another expensive fix) The electrical inside of the ignition needed to be replaced. The catalytic converter was bad. I've spent as much fixing this van as I did paying for it. The guy was nice but he swindled me very badly. Do not go here no matter how good the vehicle looks or sounds. He will say and do anything to pass inspection by someone who doesn't know much about cars.

I was very picky about what I wanted and somehow Ted and Eric managed to get the perfect car which beat my expectations AND they came in under budget. They were exceptionally helpful every step of the way. They even went onto explain the process of what I would require after having purchased the car in terms of registering etc.

I purchased a 2017 Pacifica that the dealer's owner loaned out to friends. It was trashed and needed new brakes, rotors and battery just to be road worthy. GFS said I got a new battery only to find out 3 months later that it was a 30 day battery. Dealership owes me $170 for a new battery.

Everytime I have visited this dealership for service, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I don't even own a saturn car but I did by my car at the Jay Wolfe dealership in Lee's Summit and they gave me free oil changes for 5 years. So I called the Jay Wolfe Saturn and asked them if they would accept these coupons because they are so close to my home and they immediately checked into it and said they were happy to accept them for me. I also had new tires put on and waited while they did the work and it was done in the time frame they said it would be. I have been very impressed with everyone. I'm pretty sure the next car I buy will be at that dealership.

We had dealt with Metro before and had excellent experience with them. They keep their word and do not push. Needed a car in a hurry because of job change. They helped find what we could afford and did not try to push us in to something else. Friendly fast service. All dealerships should be like this. If I am going to buy used I am going to Metro from now on.

More trouble than it's worth - Ron

Personally, I would save myself the trouble and go elsewhere. A lot of run around with these guys and they seem to be sly and deceiving. Took over a week to get my title and within that time the 'check engine light' came on. So they took the truck back to them to get the inspection. Then, I go to get the license and told me I didn't get emissions. I had thought they took care of the inspections. Then told me they didn't do emissions, but if I had brought it in within 10 of buying the truck they would have fixed the problem if It had failed... which it did. So they sold me a truck that had failed emissions. Most confusing interaction with a company I've experienced.
