Would give zero stars if aloud to! Dishonest service dept on GMC side! Vehicle taken in for air ride system! Was told system was shots needs a whole new system! Was told it would cost over $2000.00 to replace entire system with new! Continued to have same problem after fixed brought it in 3x total plus called to let them know still having same problem! Today told wasn’t never replaced with a a whole new system and it wanted another $2400.00 to repair it! Left still not repaired out my money! Dishonest service dept! Will no longer be servicing my vehicles there and will not be returning to purchase another vehicle either! Had purchased several prior to this! BEWARE! DISHONEST! RIPPED ME OFF!

Smiles, friendliness, & willing to communicate. Quick turn around: Wednesday my check engine light appeared. I called then dropped off Blazer overnight for tomorrow morning diagnostics. On my Brother in law's recommendation I dealt with Erik Capion and he was right. My wife's lease on her F-150 was close to being up and with her being spoiled by driving 4x4 trucks for the last 6yrs., she wanted another one. We decided to purchase a used vehicle this time around as lease's are outrageous now. Erik sold us a 2021 Silverado at a great price with no Bulls%#t and low mileage. Needless to say, she is very happy with it as I am too. I'm sure there are other great sales persons at Bates Chevrolet but Erik is my sales guy for any future purchases. I had gone to another Chevy dealership and the salesman there did not listen to me & attempted to get me to purchase an Equinox that he said was what HE felt I needed. I obviously left without purchasing the Equinox (although it was a nice car) & a couple of days later while driving down Ford Road I felt compelled to pull into Gordon Chevrolet when I was passing by. I am SO very glad that I did! As I was looking around their used car lot I was approached by Kyle Hunt and he listened to my wants/needs/concerns and within 1/2 hour he helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. I purchased a 2020 Trax from them and their Finance Manager, Dave Finegold, went above & beyond to get me a loan. I have poor credit and was told by the other dealership that I would never be able to obtain a loan but Dave made it happen & I will forever be grateful to Kyle & Dave for making the process quick & painless! Thanks, guys!

The service department of this dealership helped me out in a big way when I was visiting from out of state and having trouble with my FORD truck! I was driving through Kalkaska, MI on a horse trip as part of the Shore to Shore trail ride across the state of Michigan. I was from out of state and was in a bind as the "check engine" light came on in my F350 Ford truck. I took my truck to Serra Ford early on the morning of June 6, 2024 before they were open and left it with an explanation of my situation. They called me at 7:15am and told me that they "would be happy to take a look at my truck in 3 weeks if i could leave it there?" I asked if they could even tell me if it was safe to drive? They said that they would have to evaluate it to find that out and that they didn't have any time to do that! I was furious with their lack of customer service for a FORD owner from out of state in need of help! So I called the Chevrolet Dealership next door (Voice Motor Sales) and they were willing to work me into their schedule and even offered to WALK OVER TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP TO GET MY TRUCK!!! They had to order parts and had my truck fixed that day! So the Chevy dealership fixed my FORD truck for me!!!
