Classy operation - Avid Shopper

I recently purchased a used Lexus RX350 for my teen daughter. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased in the last year and in comparing the three dealership experiences, this one was by far the best and it completely removed the bias I had in working with a small dealership again. Last experience at a smaller operation was unpleasant. However, Marshall Motors was different. The salesman, Jack, was terrific. I explained that I wanted the process to go easily as I did not have the time to go back and forth. The car was delivered to our driveway days later. Everything went off without a hitch and the owner included a small Bluetooth device that works great and it made my daughter very happy. I would ABSOLUTELY purchase another car from Marshall Motors.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, earnest and honest. The lot itself was welcoming. When a problem arose with a cracked windshield, they immediately fixed at-/at the dealer’s expense. This is the third car I have bought from them, and all cars have proven to be excellent. And the service and staff congeniality are equally great

Car title documents not given to us despite three visits after purchase. 3. Dealer inspected car after we purchased it ( my fault unaware of law at that stage) passed the car with faulty handbrake (emergency repair done by second mechanic showed zero brake pad lining and virtually zero handbrake function) 4. Did not give us signed copy of warranty 5. When car would not run accepted towing cost on phone but denied all knowledge when car arrived. Tower eventually paid but had to fight for this 6. Denied warranty covered any repair that was other than engine or transmission, ( so did not accept that warranty covered brakes, suspension, illegally worn tyres that would make car unsafe..read Mass Law on dealer warranty) 7. Wanted to charge me for work however never called with estimate, never asked for specific authorisation for work, no itemised account of work done) 8. Overall very frustrating, obstructive and down right dishonest....

Russ & Greg are the best at what they do, bar none. I have been doing business with them for many years and I wouldn't go anyplace else. (Even when I moved to the North Shore for a couple of years I still brought my car back to them for service.) If you live in Central Massachusetts you should stop by New England Motors of Leominster. It is a outstanding place to have your vehicles serviced. The people there are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. On several occasions I have dropped in to have my vehicles looked at and they have usually been able to work on any repairs the same day. For scheduled appointments they can offer a loaner vehicle. At each visit they do a thorough inspection of your vehicle and let you know of any issues that might pose a problem, "down the road", along with a detailed repair estimate. They have always been done on time and within the estimated cost for repairs. I am very happy with the service they provide and will remain a loyal, repeat customer.

Beautiful quality vehicle - Acost

I found a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with low miles and zero rust spots. The vehicle feels brand new with out any sign of wear. I love this vehicle and highly recommend this dealership.

My experience was awful for the most part dealerships hate lease buyouts since they make no money from reviews I thought this would be a decent dealership I was wrong they have no experience in dealing with people with challenged credit scores I worked at a nissan for 8 years and saw many credit scores and our sales department always worked to help these people. This dealership made me go in fill out a credit application and told me to go because they did not want to make me wait. They also told me they would give me a call to let me know of the outcome never called and swore up and down they left a message which I never received. They didn't help and dinged my credit 5 times. Beware and take your business elsewhere if you are in my situation.

Went in to Test Drive an 05 Highlander. Was priced $1000 over the KBB DEALER price. Talked to the 2 owners, They tried to convince me that Blue Book "was written for the west coast". So I used the NADA book on my phone, and they were still ~700 over Dealer price. And then they just finally told me that books don't matter, It's what people will pay. (I know I'm not purchasing a car for Book Price). So I wandered around and looked at a 2004 CR-V. I test drove that also. The noises were so bad the Salesman had to sing throughout the entire test drive. Headlights didn't line up. They prided themselves on being around for 30 years and that they couldn't have been around that long if they didn't sell nice cars. I think most of the Cars they had only had Nice CarFaxes.

I purchased a 2003 Nissan Murano. The sales side of it with Steve was easy going, he was friendly, answered all my questions. It wasn't until after I purchased the vehicle that I had some issues. I brought my car back for a couple of "issues" that were fixed without a problem. Well the last week of my 30 day warranty I experienced a CRAZY transmission problem while driving on the highway. Of course I called and brought my car in and was pretty much told that it must of been a "fluke thing." Sorry but I believe if it happened once, it'll happen again. So literally a week later, I ran into the owner of ANOTHER dealership that I was dealing with previously. I told him what I purchased, and without knowing about my transmission issue, he voluntarily told me that Nissan had an extended warranty on my vehicle, which was not told to me by any of the sales or service guys at Paul Clark. I understand its a volkswagon dealership and I bought a Nissan, but if they are selling the car, then they should know kind of warranty, if any, is associated with that car. I brought my car to the Nissan Dealership that same week and found out I had 3 weeks left to the warranty and long story short, ended up with a BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION!!! If I hadn't run into this previous dealer, i would of had no idea of this extended warranty and I would of been stuck with a vehicle with a really bad transmission! After this, I go back to Paul Clark, Inc and speak with Paul Clark directly. I explained to him the situation and asked in return for saving them $7000 on a new transmission if he would take care of another SAFETY issue that Nissan had brought to my attention that was going to cost me a $1000. He was very nice in person told me he wanted to talk to a couple of people first and he would call me back "shortly". That was the last time I spoke with him. I called twice a week for 5 weeks and left voicemails EVERY time. I also went to the dealership to speak with him directly and he was never in. No matter what kind of company you work for, that is just very poor customer service on any level, never mind when you are the owner of the dealership! He didn't even have the decency to call me back or even send an email. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anybody!!

Total scammers including the guys that inspect their vehicles!! They sold us a used pickup truck that broke down and brakes failed two weeks after purchase. Our reputable mechanic said truck had missing parts out of the tranmission and front and rear brakes where ground down to the roters. It could NEVER HAVE PASSED A TRUE INSPECTION. The dealer said because we hadnt purchased the warranty they will do nothing. WE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED! Luckily a curb stopped the truck instead of another car or pedestrian!! n

Robert Peixinho seemed like a nice, honest guy. I even believed him when he told me that, "just last night" someone had come in and offered him cash for the full cost (not -value-, of course) of the car I was interested in, but since he was such an "old school" kinda genuine, authentic guy he said that he'd reserved it for me! Wow! Anyway, got the car. 2009 Jetta Wolfsburg worth about $4k less, apparently, than he was selling it for. I didn't know that; naive from not having owned a car in about 12 years. That's cool, I liked my car. A lot. It enabled me to go to all sorts of cool places I hadn't been able to for a long time. That is, until the engine died 7 months later on 90W (just before 84, so, middle of nowhere) during one of the coldest ('15-'16) winters I've ever experienced. Turned out it had some irreparable carbon build up and had to be scrapped. Any idea how much replacing a 2.0T engine on a Jetta Wolfsburg costs? I do. It's about $3k out of pocket, plus the $2500 the warranty covered...so it's a good thing he sold me on that, too. The guy who did the work had some hilarious things to say about "whatever dbag sold you this thing." There have been other smaller issues, most of which can be attributed to it just being an older car, but the reason I'm writing this review -now- is I've got some time to kill; I'm at Firestone getting new tires, and it's taking a while. Why? The key to unlock the wheels is MIA. They're in the process of forcing the wheels off now. Sweet! Thanks, Bob!

My son purchased a car from prospect auto where the advertised price was $6,995. They then charge document fees of $695. They prepared document to provide to the registry that show taxes of $481, leading him to believe the the $481 was included in the $695 doc fees. When he attempted to register it he was charged an extra $481 in sales tax, he was told the paperwork provided didn’t certify that prospect auto would pay the tax so we needed them to refund us. After contacting them they refused to refund the taxes and stated they were allowed to charge doc fees. When I checked the law both statements were true, however the Massachusetts Consumer Blog clarifies the law related to document fees stating they need to be included in the advertised price. In effect my son ended up paying an extra 10% unfairly. See below and beware of prospect auto. “When a dealer advertises the price of a car, the doc fees must be included in the advertised price. If the dealer tries to charge more than the advertised price, it is deemed an unfair and deceptive practice under the Attorney General’s motor vehicle regulations. “

Had been looking on line for a clean late model Mercedes C300 4MATIC with low mileage...had the pleasure of talking with owner Jeff Reynolds who provided me with exactly what I needed for information on the vehicle with no high pressure sales tactics. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Drove down from Vermont after agreeing on a price went for a test drive, the car was as described. We completed the transaction with no stress or hidden expenses. Would highly recommend Jeff, and will certainly check with him first when we are buying our next MB.

Sarris Auto sells higher-end cars, and they appear to be in great condition. Mine was just one year old with a mere 4500 miles on it! This dealership's costs are low, so it does not need to charge customers a higher profit margin -- you can get a great deal. George even through in a free oil change when I asked, and repaired a punctured tire one week after I bought the car! Totally recommend you stop by...

I've been buying cars for forty years and I have never had such a bad experience, they promise you everything and give you Arpege Buyer Beware sold me a car and had no title waited a week for registration Car needed service work to get insp.so I sent it to a trusted mechanic they agreed to reimburse me when I sent the bill, Gio said he could have had it done for a third of the price, that I paid understandable I guess, so they agreed to send me a check NEVER RECIEVED IT always a story after 3 months I told them to keep there check and hopefully someone can learn from my BAD EXPERIENCE.
