I scheduled my first service with my new (to me) Volvo last week. I booked valet online, and got text and email confirmations. The day of pick up John called me and went over all my concerns in detail, and took a list of accessories I was interested in. The vehicle has been in my possession less than a month, so I had a recall done and expressed a few things I found to be quirky. John was very patient and attentive on our calls, and never made any promises he couldn’t keep or excuses for a system error they had which caused my vehicle pick up to be a little late. they even left me the specific loner vehicle I had requested that my wife was interested in purchasing. The service was thorough and they identified a couple issues as I expected and did everything under warranty with no issues at all. They even washed the car for me before returning it. The valet guys were courteous as well, I saw them putting plastic on my seats and cleaning contact areas in both my car and the loaner. So far my first experience with Volvo cars Worcester has been 10/10.

Purchased a brand new Ford Windstar from this dealer back... - kilfoye

Purchased a brand new Ford Windstar from this dealer back in 1999. Performed routine required maintenance at the dealer for a couple of years. The engine siezed in the minivan shortly after we put 50,000 miles on it. Paul Clark Ford's service manager, a guy, a grouchy old guy maching around in an Army airborne sweater, was combative and argumentive when we tried to get the delership to help us defray the costs of rebuilding the engine. They could've easly went to bat for us at Ford Motor but instead he told us "we don't make any money on those cars anyway" and that it was our fault the minivan's engine siezed so tough luck. What a way to keep those customers happy Paul Clark! It was our fault for buying a Ford, which we'll never do again. And it was out fault for buying a vehicle from this lousy dealer, which we'll never do again. I would not recommend this dealer or the Ford brand to anyone. I'm buying Japanese from now on!

Three weeks ago, my compressor in my Acura stopped... - Snetteko

Three weeks ago, my compressor in my Acura stopped working. I called at least 5 service centers before going to Perro's. All the other service centers where too busy to get my car in at 2 o clock on a Thursday afternoon, but Perro's said they would. From the start, I had a great experience. The price for diagnosing the problem was 40 dollars less than all other competitors. Being a woman in my 20's, I have NO CLUE about anything having to do with cars, but Johnny actually showed me the process of diagnosing the vehicle. Unfortunate for me, the compressor has siezed, and I immediately know this was going to be an expensive job. I immediately got on my Blackberry to find out the price of a used compressor, which was about 325.00- But Perro's was actually able to get me one for 225.00. I was told the because the compressor was a used part, it would not be warrantied by the company it was being purchased from, but I still agreed and I moved forward with getting my car repaired. About 2 weeks later, I began experiencing 'hot spots' on the AC and my car began making funny noises. I took it back to Perro’s and I was told to bring it back in another day when I had more time. By the time I got back into the shop, my AC was completely out, and my car was making horrible noises. I left my car there, only to find out a few hours later that my AC Compressor had literally blown up. At this point I was horrified, and expected to hear the worst- that I would have to buy a whole new one... but instead, Perro's made the situation right actually BOUGHT A NEW COMPRESSOR OUT OF POCKET, and has assisted me by issuing me a credit so I will come back. Being a woman, it can be intimidating going into a mechanical shop, and having to worry that I might be taken advantage of, but at Perro's not only was I shown exactly what was going to happen to my car, but I was treated fairly and honestly. I have to say that throughout this process not only did i receive superb customer service, but I learned a bit about cars! Perro's did everything to make the situation right- although they didn't have to, because I WAS TOLD about the part not being warranties- BUT they ended up taking care of everything. I will definetly recommend Perro’s again and again, and specially to my clueless girlfriends who have no clue about cars (like myself) THANKS!!!
