Poorly Treated - Stephen Ippolito

I have a brand new 2017 KIA Sorrento. The front bumper was scratched up. I took it to Quirk because it was new. They told me they would need to take it apart first. They would not order parts in advance. The insurance company looked at it and said there was no damage. The bumper skin needed to be replace. Quick told me 14 days plus before getting the car back. Boch Collision looked at the car and saw no damage either but a bumper skin. They ordered the bumper skin. It took 1 day. Took it apart and saw no damage. It took 5 days to get my car back.

This garage came highly recommended to us by a friend, and they were right on target! Robert is a skilled, friendly, and fair owner/operator of this shop. He gave us a hands-on inspection prior to the work, a recommendation of what needed to be done, an accurate estimate of bill, and a realistic timeframe of what to expect (which was very reasonable, especially for a shop his size).

We trust the mechanics, we like the service and feel comfortable working with the service desk. The work done on our PT Cruiser has been good and the prices have been fair. The waiting room could be better (quite cold in the winter) but is adequate. There is no high pressure sales talk.

In past years with my old car due to unfortunate accidents I’ve been to a few auto body shops and they indeed manage to repair my car, however; they would take the full 30 days allowed for my rental so they could repair it regardless of the damage plus the paint job would not be to convincing…..This past November I was involved in a misfortunate accident…this time I had the car I’ve always strived to get…with that said I wanted to have it repair the same day…although I knew that was not realistic specially from previous experiences…So I decided to take it to Today’s collision…. Less than a week later I had my car all repaired and then some…I could not believe how efficient and expeditiously it was fixed….I give Today’s Collision three thumbs up for time and superb paint job!!!

We have been doing business with Village Saab since 1986, and drive them exclusively. We have five Saabs in our family of five, and the safety and longevity of the cars and the honesty of the people keep us with Village Saab. We have never encountered the experiences some others have written about here. However, I have seen very demanding clients in both the sales and the service areas, and felt they were way out of line in their expectations and verbiage. We have done European delivery with VS, as well as new purchases, leases, and used purchases. We have never found better prices or more honest people, even though we have looked around. We still have a 1994 and a 1996 on the road. We are retiring to Florida soon, but will keep our connection with Village. We'd be thrilled if we could find a commensurate dealer in Florida.
