I searched many dealers in the area when I needed to buy a car and the pre-owned lot at Louisiana Motors had just what I was looking for and a price that I could afford. I also felt less intimidated there because of the friendly atmosphere and the fact that they do not advertise by way of crazy commercials on TV. I did not feel like I was going to get scammed. The whole car buying experience was great and I still take my car there to get serviced. I am still very happy with them.

We were very pleased with Jesse at Moss Motors in Lafayette. He was very pleasant and never "pushy" which always makes for a great experience. He was very patient and very knowledgeable about the Honda Accord EX 2017 that myself and my husband purchased. I went to Moss with printouts of two vehicles that I was interested in. Jesse, without hesitation pulled both cars under a canopy for me to view. Seeing the cars side by side made my decision that much easier. Jesse also connected my phone to the Apple car play. The only complaint, which is minor, is that I had to drive 1 1/2 hours back to the dealership the next day for my forgotten inspection sticker. However, my overall experience was great.

Went to buy a car from an Individual I found on the internet. I had the cash and could have paid him on the spot however this guy was buying a brand new car from Musson-Patout. I suggested he ask about a courtesy trade in to save him some tax money. We set up this up and I drove 2 hours to the dealership to buy the used car for the agreed upon price. As soon as I walked in I got hit with a fee the called the courtesy trade in fee of $750.00. Next when I went to pay for the vehicle they hit you with another fee of 475.00 for paperwork. I have bought and sold vehicles at least 10 times this way and have never been assessed these fees. At this point do not call it a COURTESY TRADE IN because it is just another way for them to nickel and dime you to death. The dealership typically do this for free because they are selling a brand new car and get the profits from that. Drive a little further and find a dealership that appreciates your business.

Bad experience - Unhappy

Tim and David sold me a truck and I took it home and on the way, the engine light came on. They asked me to bring it in because it's not under warranty and they didn't want to do that to me they said. I brought it back and they sold me a Cadillac. Same thing happened on the way home. I called them and they said oh no it's under warranty and to take it and get it fixed. So I took it to our local Cadillac dealership. Found out that it wasn't under warranty. $1300 to get it out of the shop. Vic Garrett Motors never helped me with anything. DONT BUY CARS HERE!
