Back in the summer I called for an appointment to look at strange brown dots in my new Accent's paint. I left work and drove all the way from Winchester to make the appointment. When I get there I'm informed that the guy that handles warranty issues isn't here and they don't know when he'll be back. They could've told me that when I made the appointment. The first guy I saw even acted as if there was nothing wrong with my paint and the second guy could see the problem but couldn't identify the issue. Weeks passed and the warranty guy never showed. I did receive a couple of calls from the service department telling me that they would call when they knew the warranty guy's schedule. After those two calls I never heard from them again. After two months I took my car to Gates Hyundai of Richmond. The problem was quickly identified as rail dust and the next day I was picking my car up free from the brown spots. It's been 4 or 5 months now. Had I not gone to Gates, I would still be waiting.
