I wanted to take a moment to update my review of City Volkswagen of Highland. Having lived in Indiana for several years, I understand how vital it is for local businesses to thrive, as their success contributes to the overall growth of the community. I also recognize that negative reviews can sometimes impact businesses in ways that ultimately affect the community as a whole.
That being said, my experience with City Volkswagen initially had some challenges when I decided to purchase my leased 2021 Atlas. However, since then, they have completely restored my faith and earned my continued business. From Anthony Scala, the owner, personally stepping in to provide insight from a business standpoint, to James in finance working hard to make the deal work, and Sam Lotta going the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied—each of them played a crucial role in turning my experience around.
Recently, I encountered an issue where the seat in my vehicle was adjusting on its own. I scheduled an appointment, and Sharon Hall, the service advisor, was incredibly gracious, sincere, and determined to get to the root of the problem. Even the porter who gave me a ride home was exceptionally kind and wished me the best. Joel from the service department committed to keeping me updated every step of the way. While the initial plan was to have my vehicle ready by Friday, the team took the extra initiative to locate the necessary part in Merrillville, expediting the repair process so I could get my vehicle back even sooner.
Sam Lotta, the GM, also followed up to ensure everything was running smoothly, reinforcing the dealership’s commitment to excellent customer service.
This is exactly the kind of business that customers want to support, one that values its clients and is dedicated to providing exceptional service. Thank you to everyone at City Volkswagen of Highland. While things started off a bit rocky, I truly appreciate the effort to find a solution that worked for both sides. I’m glad to continue doing business with a dealership that prioritizes its customers and the community.
