Unsafe and they won't stand behind their car - MWS55
This dealership (AKA Rohr-Max now at 1520 E Dundee Road, Palatine) sold me an unsafe vehicle and misrepresented and concealed the real condition from me. During our test drive we found a door we could not open, the hood could not be opened, (salesman "Oh, yeah..We have a handle on order", A loose and weak battery (salesman- "It might need a battery." I asked for a checklist of all the mechanical items they checked so I could see if what they had gone over and what repairs might be needed. They showed me one receipt from a mechanic who replaced a battery cable and a couple of other incidentals. It still had an anti-lock brake light on and Rohr-Max said it was safe to drive . They could repair it or reduce the vehicle price by the repair cost. Before the test drive I was told "You'd be hard to find any rust on this vehicle." They said they would replace the battery and the cracked battery tray and we bought the car. I backed it out of the garage and found 3 large puddles of fluid under it. I found there was no brake fluid in the reservoir and it was lined with black xxxx. Looking underneath there was severe rust and fluid leaks in several spots. I took it to 3 mechanics to get it checked over. They said
Brake lines are rusted, leaking and the bleeders are rusted in place.
Brake calipers are severely rusted and can not be machined.
Transmission neutral safety switch and pan are leaking.
Transmission oil cooler lines and fittings are rotted and leaking.

I approached GM at dealership and asked him to refund my purchase. He would not so I called Customer Relations and was referred to the Illinois Director of Operations, Ryan Rohrman. He was e-mailed a list of the vehicles faults and was supposed to call me. He did not, so I left messages for him 3 times and he never called back.
