I bought my car here and servicing done here if I’m in town. Over 100,000 miles now! I find everyone here to be respectful, kind and very helpful! They go over everything with me and there is never any pressure. This last service was with Chris Unterseher. He was wonderful and did an excellent job with my car! I was cold sitting in the waiting room and another sweet lady brought me a coat! Who does that?! Thank you Chris! I will be back for the next service because you have earned my business!

Lube Oil Filter on my 07 Diesel 3500 went smoothly, was cost effective and only took about an hour and fifteen minutes. (they had estimated an hour). The only complaint I had was that they could have done a better job washing the truck. (but then again I am a bit of a perfectionist)

Per a recommendation from a friend in 2022, I took my Escape to Lithia Ford in Idaho Falls for service. The service counter agent kept me up to date on all progress. The techs did a thorough job on diagnostics as it took several attempts to reach the problem. They fixed the problem and the car ran great. Job well done! I made another appointment to have my Escape fixed by Lithia in, 2023. There was a 30 day wait. At the time of services they were looking to do two recalls and a check engine light. I checked the code with my OBDII it was a P0236. The counter agent called a couple days later. He said the car was ready. On pick up there was a major disagreement between the counter agent and me as to the billing. He now wanted to charge a diagnostics fee. I had questioned him several times as to repair costs prior. He stated each time there was no charge as they had not done anything to the vehicle other than the recalls. But they had cleared the code with no further action. The assistant manager intervened and corrected the counter agent’s billing mistake. When I started the vehicle the code was still showing. Lithia’s service manager called latter to advise me there had been a mistake made with the diagnostics code. He asks if I would return the car. I returned the car. It took a couple of times to correctly diagnose the problem. The techs did a great job on the repair. The car performs like it should. I am very satisfied with the tech’s work. Thank you to the service manager and assistant manager for their oversight in making the experience a satisfactory one.

When driving north on Hwy 95 south of Sandpoint, a deer - jhughes

When driving north on Hwy 95 south of Sandpoint, a deer jumped into the front of our Ford Explorer. Eventually the deer damage caused the Explorer heating system (the heat that blows out the top and bottom or the dashboard & the seat heaters & the thermostat and heat info that posts onto the dashboard) to each turn on and off for unpredictable periods (from a few minutes to a few hours or a few days) and these periods got longer and longer. It was very disrupting earlier in the winter. After speaking with the Mike White service staff, they obtained the needed equipment and they arranged to come to our house and pick up the Explorer to take to Mike White Ford and returned the Explorer to our house right after the Explorer was repaired. I was headed to McCall from Utah on a trip last week and had truck problems. I stopped into this dealership as my truck is a Ford and they are a Ford dealership. Lindsay Walcker in the service department was AMAZING, helpful and a calming influence at the time. She was able to quasi diagnose the problem, was hospitable and suggestive with solutions and made "vehicle problems" less problematic. The other people on the staff that I interacted with were great as well. Great service staff from my experience!

Amazing Service - Subaru

I cannot say enough about the level of customer service Wackerli Subau provides. My wife and I were traveling from N. Idaho to Tucson, AZ on January 30 in our 2016 Outback when we experienced a failure in our sunroof. We pulled into Wackerli Subaru about 4:30 that afternoon, and explained our problem. Their service personnel immediately took our car and provided us with temporary repairs (most dealers do not stock sunroof glass and frames) which enabled us to continue our trip. They also diagnosed the problem and indicted that the repair should be covered by our warranty (which is was). Excellent and caring service! The repairs were done quickly, even though we came in unannounced and near the end of their work day. We were so very impressed by everyone we interacted with at the dealership and found them to be welcoming and very professional. The service personnel provided us it's treats for our dog and water bottles for ourselves and did an amazing job! Thank you so much for your excellent service.

I have lived in the area for over two years, and Lithia is the only place I take my 2017 Ram 2500 for service and maintenance. The staff are always friendly, professional, and willing to answer my many questions. The customer waiting area is always clean and has water and coffee available. My only complaint is that it usually takes 2-3 weeks to get an appointment. However, it is worth waiting for an appointment to have their quality and friendly service. I would not take my truck anywhere else.

We bought a car 6 years ago from this particular dealership, and were not impressed with the salesman or the finance guy, and then a few years later ordered a new car through them, and didn't have a great experience either, and ended up going elsewhere for our car. Since then, we've been hesitant to go there for anything else, but recently needed some recall work done on our vehicle, and were SO IMPRESSED this time with everyone on the service team who helped us out! It took longer than they said it would, but they were very transparent and accomodating. And they even vacuumed our car when they were finished and gave us a coupon for a free car wash! I also greatly appreciated the courtesy car report that they gave us, helping us know the overall state of our car. All-in-all, my confidence has increased significantly concerning Stone's KIA in Idaho Falls.

I had thought that the tire pressure unit that I’d replaced 3 weeks earlier was on the fritz again, Mark told me that no, it was a different one and replaced it accordingly. Thanks to their timeliness in getting the job done so quickly. I’m worried that tire pressure units should all be replaced at the same time though. The warning light came on that another unit was faulty! So when I get back to town, I’ll be taking the vehicle in.

The service representative (Christian) was Excellent. He arranged service that had multiple parts & unexpected changes. He was very knowledgeable, thoughtful & professional. All repairs were done well & efficiently. The only glitch was a shipping delay, but that was handled well, including providing us with an alternate vehicle for several days. We live 100 miles away from this dealer & will gladly return.

This is an update to a previous review one year ago. This time around the service was outstanding! I won't go into details, but I ended up back at Larry H. Miller in Boise by mistake and I am happy I did because this time the service was outstanding. Compared to a year ago, they got to our Ram Truck in immediately and got the problem resolved within a day of it being towed to them. Roberto was the service manager and he answered my many questions and he and his team did exactly what they said they would do. I tried to go to my last review and update it there, but this site would not let me. Thank you for getting us back on the road and it proves things can change for the better. Good job!!

The level of service was truly top-notch, and I felt valued as a customer from start to finish. Their pricing is competitive with independent repair/service shops. #2. They answer text messages and emails promptly. #3. They make appointments again via phone, text or email and they offer flexible scheduling options #4. When performing service or maintenance they provide a video of your vehicle showing important areas that are in good working order and items that require attention. #5. They typically have a minimum of 4 or 5 Service Advisors so when you pull into their service department there is no waiting on an employee. #6. If a defect or a failed component is suspected, they will engage with the appropriate vehicle manufacturer for further analysis. #7. The service waiting room is spacious and accommodating. #8. Lastly, I cannot over emphasize how impressed I’ve been working with Harry Rood (Service Advisor). Harry has great communication skills and is always available to answer questions.
