I was recently in Honolulu and needed directions and stopped in at New City Nissan. Lisa, the receptionist was so helpful, friendly and kind by printing out directions for us. I used the restroom which was very clean. The area for people to wait while their cars were being serviced looked comfortable and clean. Being from Pennsylvania, I won't be buying a car in Hawaii, but if I needed to buy a car in Honolulu, I would buy it from New City Nissan. (((Just to submit this review, I had to enter a make and model on the website, but I did not have any work done.)))

I tried contacting the Service Department twice online - Dissatisfied

I tried contacting the Service Department twice online and they never responded to me. All I wanted to know was whether they had done a proper job on my car. One of the jobs done on my car was a transmission fluid change. Less than a week after they did work on my car, it breaks down and I had to get a new transmission installed at another auto repair shop. The shop discovered later upon repair that there was a lack of transmission fluid in the torque converter which indicated that it had caused my transmission failure. Like another reviewer mentioned on this review site, Tony Honda seems to not reply back to customers once they are already done working on your vehicle. Tony Honda, why make an online contact form available when you do not respond? After submitting the form, your site even says somebody would contact me back shortly. Also, although my service advisor, Kayelah, was professional and did her job when my car was getting fixed, she did not respond to me when I left her a voice message on the day my car broke down to call me back. Tony Honda, don't bother replying to this review and requesting for an opportunity to make things right with me. If you are truly serious about making things right, go back and check your online contact requests. You will find my case.

I appreciate the stellar customer service provided by Jamie Leialoha in the Kona Service Department. She made it so comfortable! She listened to my needs and conveyed everything to the mechanics who did the best rotor and brake job I have ever had on my 2017 Hyundai Veloster that I bought here brand new in 2018. They checked everything that I asked them to and have made a second appointment to fix other things that we are waiting on parts. I am confident they will do the best job on my a/c when I bring it again. Thank you, Big Island Motors!

There should be a little improvement with regards to auto servicing repair and maintenance. The service advisor should be more knowledgeable about the work being performed. They just did a regular maintenance on my car but didn’t even rotated the tires which I thought it should be included in every oil change. Only oil changed done. They never even asked if tire rotation is included. Tire depth noted on all four tires are all the same wherein there should always be a difference from front to back

Paid $1450 for a new radiator. Got a few miles out of town and my truck overheated. Had coolant all over the place. The mechanic didn't put the lower radiator hose clamp back on. Complete nightmare. I won't be back.
