Don't buy a car from them if you live on outer islands - laura
The only reason I purchased the F-Pace Jaguar from Jaguar Honolulu was that Bill Rowan assured us that servicing the vehicle was no problem as a technician flies out to the outer islands regularly.
In May of this year, one month before the annual service to our F-Pace, we happened to be in Honolulu so we stopped in at the service department to schedule the upcoming service.
The service manager looked confused and didn't know when the technician was going to Kona but promised to contact us as soon as she found out.
I heard nothing since May, so I tried calling and emailing the service dept and Bill Rowan in June, July and Sept. Nobody called or emailed me back. o call the service dept. When I tried calling but no one answered and could not leave a messages because the voice mail was always “full”.
I just called again and spoke with the warranty clerk Shawnee who informed me that a technician is no longer sent out to the outer island to service the Jaguar vehicles. Why has no one notified us and let us know what the options were? My vehicle is 5 months overdue for service now and i have no idea what to do. The service manager when I called today was not available, the general manager was not in, the warranty clerk did not know. Astonishing!
I left a message for the general manager, Greg Jackson but with their track record of returning calls I doubt that he will bother calling me back.
