A week ago, I traded in my 2021 Golf GTI SE (who I had originally purchased it from Brian Harper who worked here previously) for a 2024 GTI Autobahn. I had the great pleasure of working with Josiah, who in fact I had been in contact previously in the last 3-4 months. I came in to the dealership last minute on a whim, 45 minutes before closing on a Friday and had a great conversation with Josiah - and unexpectedly went for a test drive... Long Story short, I came back the following day, Saturday late afternoon. I originally came in to make a deal on an SE with Leather package if it made sense for me to do so - I wasn't entirely sure it made sense for me, and I had such a great rapport with Josiah and the rest of the VW Team that I wanted to make the purchase. Not sure how, but the Sales Manager Ramazan (Not sure if correct as I refer to him as Rami), said he would cook something up and asked Josiah to pull out a White Opal Pearl Autobahn GTI for another test drive. I fell more in love with it, and it drove fantastic with the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). After the test drive, Ramazan provided me with the Estimate Sheet, and I was shocked because the numbers made sense, and it was an Autobahn trim. I knew this was it and had to pull the trigger. We shook hands and signed some paperwork and got the process rolling. Everything went smooth, and I was more than satisfied with the level of service I received from the whole VW Team - From Sales, to Finance - Pete is fantastic btw! - and the GM. What made this whole experience great was the level of professionalism but also personalism; they were very transparent and honest, and very understanding of my situation and circumstance. I am extremely ecstatic that I purchased my 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn with VW of Marietta, and more importantly so with Josiah, who is cousin's with Brian Harper, who originally sold me my 2021 VW Golf GTI SE. Thank you again VW of Marietta Team for working with me and making this happen!

My sales person, Lloyd was really easy to work with. The manager David did the old hardball song and dance, but we all ended where we wanted to be. The finance person, Kurt, was really friendly and didn't pressue the upsells too much. What I really liked is they didn't try to drag things out like some dealerships. Unfortunately, I did have to immediately work with the service team because of an inssue in my new car, but they were amazing, got my car done a day early and offered me a loner. I felt really good about it. My only complaint is I am pretty sure when they sold me the car they included a bumper guard and they didn't put it on the car. Otherwise my only knock is against VW for not having more aggressive financing options on new cars to compete with other makes in their price point.

We have a 2013 VW Passat TDI that has approx. 125k miles on it. About two weeks ago we discovered that it had a coolant leak. We dropped off the car with O'steen in Valdosta on a Saturday and spoke with the service advisor Marquis. We asked to have the techs check for the coolant leak and see if there were any other major problems. The following Wednesday received a call from Marquis who told us that the oil cooler, water pump, thermostat needed to be replaced. He also told us the belt and tension pulleys needed to be replaced also. He also mentioned the left rear speed sensor needed to be replaced, but if we did all four we would save a lot of money because they would cut us a deal. One sensor was $385, but if you replace all four it would be $898. We thought the sensor was bad when we dropped it off based on the warning lights that came on once. When I asked how much the repairs would be when he called on Wednesday he told us $4475 and some change. Marquis assured me this included to left rear wheel sensor. When asked about replacing all four he quoted approx. $5300-$5400. I asked him several times about the math as it did not match up with the quote he provided for the replacement of all four sensors for $898. Based on the quotes we were going to pay full price for a sensor, then the "break" for four in essence buying 5 sensors. I asked several times for a written quote but was not provided one. I asked several times if they would just email it without success. I also learned that the belt that needed replacement was the timing belt after calling other mechanical shops in the area, but that was not explained during the several calls with O'steen. When I realized it seemed O'steen was being dishonest or just had no idea what they were talking about, I told Marquis to put the car back together and that I would come to pick it up. Then the scare tactics started with "The tech said it was a miracle that your car even made it here." "The tech says the car is unsafe to drive." Marquis told my husband this SEVERAL times with no explanation. They would not tell my husband why the tech thought that or provide any information on what he meant. I am so THANKFUL my husband spoke with them. I wonder how many single mothers, Grandmothers, young women, or people that have to rely on them for repairs have fallen victim to their scare tactics. On top of that, they didn't even replace the shroud that goes under the car, which was on it when we dropped it off. I guess they decided they needed it more than we did. When we bought the car from this dealership 4 years ago this car was advertised as having a certified pre-owned warranty. When we arrived to purchase it they told us it didn't and tried to sell an extended warranty for the low price of $1800. They eventually corrected this, but once again it is obvious O'steen does not care for you the individual. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to purchase or for repairs. Someplace that is honest.

Poor service, poor location, no pride... - John Galt

Bought a car here at a better price than dealer in Warner Robins, but have repeatedly gotten poor service. Took car in for 30-day check, employees standing around smoking or on computer playing, only one service writer, work got done, but detailer did poor job; in fact top of car and hood had circular scratches like the rag had been dropped on the ground. On another occasion had work done on car, but found it was not done when I got home as I had marked consumable parts that should have been replaced. Recently my salesman called me, said he'd quit and was working somewhere else, so I rode past VW dealership - like a graveyard. I realize brand is having some problems (diesel), but there were hardly any cars, only one salesman, employees standing around smoking - just no pride. Sorry to say a reputable dealer like Jackson bought his brand at a bad time and has been stuck with a poor staff culture. I think it would be best it dealer merged over on Subaru or Mercedes lot and that facility and staff were utilized to sell VWs and fire everyone over at Eisenhower location.
