In first arriving at the dealership without an appointment, Greg Byrd greeted us promptly and professionally but still demonstrated the humor I always look for when purchasing a new vehicle.
Before we could tell Greg what vehicle we were interested in, he began to ask questions to ensure that he could assist us in deciding upon which vehicle would benefit us the most.
We had our eye on a DBX but with two different models, Greg wanted to make sure we understood the differences between both to ensure we purchased the right model level for us.
He took us to each one and explained the differences in each and then offered for us to drive the vehicle. He was clear with the options and went through the various screens and explained the console buttons so we understood what the vehicle could do.
His attention to detail was something that many salesman miss and that is why Greg is not a salesman and in my opinion, he is a concierge because the caring he demonstrates throughout the process and his attention to detail and efficiency is severely lacking in today’s world.
Once we decided upon the proper vehicle for us, I left my wife out of the process and told her we wouldn’t be buying it. This allowed me to work with Greg to pull off a surprise unveiling and that is exactly we he did.
He rushed the process to get everything in order and then he and I completed the paperwork and later that evening, I drove my wife by the dealership to look at another vehicle and that was when upon entering the showroom (which is kept immaculate) Greg had the vehicle draped in a cover and removed it in dramatic fashion to reveal the vehicle. He included gifts inside and also yellow and gold bows because he had asked me what her favorite color was (nice touch Greg).
He then went back through the menus with her, provided a quality overview again and that was it. We drove off but Greg also provided a personal invitation to an Aston event this Saturday. He is fully available if we need anything and I believe in his skills, his attention to detail and his overall attitude in providing the customer with top-level service at all times.
Greg has my full appreciation and I would recommend him if you are in the market for any vehicle sold by Aston Martin or their vast used car collection of exotic vehicles. He told me along the way, “we do everything we can to provide the best service experience possible so you can become a part of the Aston Orlando family” and without a doubt, Greg and the entire Aston team made us feel that way and we will purchase again the next time we are in the market for another vehicle.
