I was sold a well-disguised junk vehicle - martiningj
I’ve been sold a vehicle that was supposed to be in “excellent condition,” as described in writing by 5280 Imports. I was also repeatedly assured by the salesperson that the vehicle was carefully inspected and that it had zero problems. A few days after the purchase it surfaced that the vehicle was in desperate need of very serious repairs, totaling over $8,000. Without most of the repairs the vehicle would’ve become inoperable within a few days after the purchase. Upon closer inspection at home, I also discovered that the vehicle has been superficially cleaned by 5280 Imports but the garbage I later discovered deep under the seats would’ve been a clear indicator for 5280 Imports that the vehicle was not well taken care of at all, contrary to what I was told by the salesperson.
When I was finally able to reach the owner with a question of how 5280 Imports could assist, he ended a very short conversation with “too bad.”
