8-2-24 - Requested Comprehensive vehicle inspection before a private BMW purchase - $357.67 Missed several items (found when I pointed out or when I advised BMW to make all repairs they identified. DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS
8-2-24 - 8-8-24 Vehicle stayed with Winslow BMW to complete all identified issues/maintenance. INCOMPLETE had to go back.
8-2-24 - S/A advised he would follow up on spare tire fit. Did not follow up.
8-2-24 - Advised S/A I would need a courtesy ride back to Winslow about 2 hours before completion as I live about 40 minutes away. I requested this in person with S/A several times throughout the week. On day of vehicle pick up I was advised late in the day they could not pick me up I would need to find a ride or get a taxi and they BMW would pay. DID NOT MEET DISCUSSED EXPECTATIONS.
8-8-24 - Repaired the Driver side Trim versus the Passenger side. FAILED TO FOLLOW DOCUMENTED SERVICE ORDER. FAILED TO MEET EXPECTIONS. Note: I showed S/A opening around trim where oil cooler is and wanted it enclosed to avoid the debris (rocks, tumble weeds, etc., damaging the cooler. S/A advised they would replace. If the opening was correct why would I spend money on a trim piece that had nothing to do with closing the hole? Failed to advise customer to make an intelligent decision. Picked up car and as you can see they did not put a new trim piece on the passenger side that I paid for. FAILED TO EXPECTATIONS.
8-8-24 - Strong oil sell inside car, called back S/A and advised both trim piece not installed and oil was visible on bottom of pan. DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS
8-2-24 / 8-12/24 - Left multiple voice messages and called for updates and to respond to BMW findings on their 2d inspection. Never called me back. Voice mail message stated S/A would return calls by EOB. Did not happen.
What I received from S/A is a plethora of excuses for sub standard customer services, i.e., workload is heavy, a lot of employees calling off sick, very busy. These are the type responses a customer wants to hear when spending 7K+
I have been going to Winslow since they were on Circle Dr and I have never received this unacceptable level of service or communication.
Winslow BMW's labor rate is certainly not commensurate their service levels. I would expect this lower service level from a backyard operation not higher end performance vehicles.
Lastly, it appears to meet Management (if they are present) are a sleep at the wheel.
