I received my pickup back after a transmission - Kansas

I received my pickup back after a transmission replacement that took 2 weeks. Upon receiving my pickup and getting it home, I found that several items had been stolen; a change container, 2 knives, and a pair of hunting binoculars. These items were located in two different areas of the pickup and were not in plain view, meaning that someone would have had to open consoles that had no bearing on the repair. I called the service department to report the theft. There was no apology, no ownership, nor an attempt to make it right with me. I was told that it was my responsibility and not their’s even though it was on their lot. They said they would look on the service technician work benches. I have attempted to call the GM of the dealership with no call in return. I did make a report with the Burlington Police Department.
