Car was sent over for repairs by Caliber Collision from Ontario Fiat after performing a recall repair. Had damage to hatch and first quote was $1800. Since insurance deductible was $1000, decided to pay out of pocket. Had to call several times to get status for such a simple fix from Caliber Collision. Price upped $200 without a good explanation. Vehicle than claimed to be completed and then was kept is over the weekend because of “quality issue” This was a lie… the vehicle went off line from my mobile app on the 8/28. It was later discovered the battery main fuse was removed and subsequently reinserted in the incorrect slot. Vehicle was sent back to Ontario Fiat to troubleshoot the Caliber Collision screw-up. Dealership could not figure out the problem for 14 days (Pretty Stupid). Both dealership and Caliber Collision failed to update status until I finally complained. Problem was discovered on 9/5 and sent back to Caliber Collision repaired but I was never called. On 9/8 – 3 days later after I chased everyone down. I finally got someone on the phone from Caliber Collision and the Vehicle was sent to me … no apology, no adjustment to bill.
Both Ontario Fiat and Caliber Collision have horrible customer service and I would strongly recommend Not using their service.
