I serviced my vehicle, a 2001 Dodge 4.7 V8 SUV at this center twice and I am very impressed on how they go far and beyond customer service satisfaction.
My first experience at the center was impressing. Because I had a check engine indicator light on I knew that servicing the vehicle at the dealership would be more expensive then getting it serviced at a local oil change/tire retail store. Overall, when receiving a call only 2 days after I dropped off the vehicle the service rep advised that it was only a bad gas fuse block that needed to be replaced. The highlight of the conversation is that he didn't try to sell me other services that I didn't need.Service dealerships get a commission for every car they service so by more services on a car means more $$$ and the rep did not advise of that.
My second experience involves a recent recall (check your vehicle recall info bi-annually) involving my engine. I dropped the car on Saturday. Sales advisor Randy Lewis stated that it would be serviced on Monday. When contacting the service center at the dealership, I forgot the person's name so I was maybe talking to another advisor. Working in the business industry commission is everywhere so I asked the unfamiliar advisor, "Do you get commission?" Advisor stated, "Yes we do, however we only work as a team together." That surprised me. After 2 hours I called again and Randy Lewis was in charge of my vehicle and he advised that my
SUV is ready to be picked up. Again Randy did not try to sell me something that I did not need at the moment.
I am very satisfied on how they manage customer service as a virtue. In the past with my other vehicles I have spent thousands of dollars on unnecessary parts and services that my vehicle really did not need and to experience this type of customer handling at Tustin Dodge really impresses me. I recommend this dealership to any and everybody for all types of automobile (Dodge) services and parts!
