I have been using Audi Carlsbad since day one. Super sad to say that things have been great until the last few services when things took a turn from good to horrible. They struggle to keep up the quality, service, and expectations we expect for an Audi. The staff has been the same since I owned my car for the past five years. Which could be good or bad. It all depends on their management and motivation. It would have been good if they kept their effort and care, but they could not care less. I booked my appointment more than 2.5 months earlier. Although other Audi dealers had only two weeks to wait, I thought I would stick with my home Audi service dealer. I requested a loaner at the appointment. I called, emailed, and texted the day before my appointment to confirm the loaner would be available at drop-off. I never got any communication back from Joey, my supposed service provider. Note I texted and emailed him within minutes of him texting and emailing to confirm my appointment. Today I go to drop my car off, and he tells me they do not have a loaner car for me and that they can provide me with a Lyft ride home. I do not know how a respected brand dealer service department expects their customers to accept a major 70K service in addition to 3 recall service preps that will take a couple of days without providing or making a loaner car available. If you don’t have Audi loaners, make other rentals available. This is the most ridiculous experience I have ever had.
This service department is going down fast and in a hurry. All I have to tell you is to look at the reviews every good review is for the sales team, and every bad review is for the service department. Hint, go get your service done at at a different audio dealer.
