I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience at West Covina Nissan! Margarito was a great salesman! Helped me with all my questions and concerns, and was very patient, clear and upfront. I am very happy with my purchase!

Salesperson: Parker Manager on Duty: Hector I had a very positive experience with Nissan SJC. Initially, I inquired on a used vehicle - and upon calling the dealership I was annoyed when they mentioned about the addendums. Considering it was a cheap vehicle (advertised for $12.5k), I didn't think I'd be getting a good deal. About a week has passed, and Parker followed up again. I recapped our conversation from the week prior - and advised I'm seriously interested and will purchase the vehicle if he can provide me some true numbers. I then spoke with Hector, and we came to a deal prior to me visiting the dealership. I've purchased over 40 vehicles in my lifetime (check out some of my other reviews). Regarding my purchasing experience with Parker & Hector, I would hands down purchase from this dealership again. Prior to this, I've established a relationship with my Ford dealership for the past few years (purchased/leased 7 Fords in 6 years), but since the pandemic they've become greedy - and no longer care for loyal customers. Growing up, my parents had Nissans & Infiniti (280Z/280ZX/300ZX Z31 & Z32/Murano/Juke/Rogue/FX35) - so I'm familiar with the brand and with the way new car prices are going, I wouldn't mind considering another Nissan for my family's next vehicle.

2019 Leaf Lease - Low Leaf

Staff was great, providing numbers and correspondence via email so that my time in the dealership finalizing the deal was kept to a minimum. They worked with me to close out my previous lease and modify the terms of the new lease to accommodate my needs. Was a relief to be able to work with a local dealer and get the deal I wanted

Short story: I would avoid this dealership and go somewhere else. You will be pissing away money here. They're dishonest and will get you to pay for services you don't truly need. Then they will drop communication with you once you've been taken advantage of. Long story of my experience: We originally came into the dealership to do an oil change. We asked if the dealership could check the brakes because we had them serviced at an independent mechanic (front brakes around September 2023 and rear brakes around November 2023); and they've been pretty squeaky. Although this is normal, we wanted a second opinion. We received a call from a service rep (I will refer to him as Guy). He explained the mechanic did a simple 'pad slap' and they should have also resurfaced the rotors; Now our pads are wearing down unevenly. His language was quite serious, leading us to believe our car needed this service immediately or further damage would be caused to our car. Although we asked how long our pads could expect to last since they are almost brand new, Guy could not give an estimate and refrained from providing any other guidance other than the best path forward is to have the rotors resurfaced and get new pads. During this conversation, Guy stated Nissan could keep our old pads as evidence of poor workmanship to try and get a refund at our previous mechanic for 'doing a poor job' ... to which agreed would be a great idea. Upon arriving at the dealership, Guy explained the Nissan mechanics threw away the previous brake pads. I asked how this could be possible when we clearly discussed keeping them; he did not know. So now we have no evidence as to the status as our pads. HERE IS THE HUGE SURPRISE: Guy's suggestion was that Nissan could provide some other old random brake pads as evidence (implying that we should provide false evidence and lie to the previous mechanic). So not only did this dealership take advantage of us, they rid the proof, wanted us to lie and rip off another mechanic From here, I expressed my complaint to Guy. After seeking advice from friends and professionals the night after our conversation, I learned that our pads should have been in near mint condition as we drove less than 5k miles since getting them serviced in 2023. There's no reason a professional dealership shouldn't have explained that our pads had a long useful life left. Pads should last anywhere from 70k miles to a very conservative 20k (for a poor, brake-heavy driver) I believed we were taken advantage of to pay $1,400 for a service we did not need whatsoever. Lastly, I asked to speak with a manager, he was 'busy in a meeting'. Then I called him twice and sent 2 emails to file a formal complaint. The manager never responded. Life Lessons Learned: 1) Brake pads can last anywhere from 30k to 70k miles depending on the driver. Don't let any mechanic scam you into getting new pads when yours should have a long useful life. 2) Don't let the dealership may you believe you always need a rotor resurfacing. It's recommended every time by the dealership, but it's more subjective than originally let on. 3) This dealership, maybe Nissan in general, can be dishonest. Do your research beforehand and find a good mechanic ahead of time.

Sincerely sad and at a loss. I would like to begin by stating I have paperwork and sincerely hope to get help from someone. I am a sinigle mother who works in the social sector. I don't think I will every purchase a nissan again. I own a 2006 Nissan Sentra that I bought brand new and after hitting the mileage at which nissan will no longer take responsibility for its faulty cvt transmission it failed and I was stuck all 4 times my car had to get towed while i was with a client and had to get helped by my partner or a tow truck. I had to pay for new authentic nissan parts and the transmission was programmed at this dealership. My car "passed" and after a 1 week my car once again had to get towed. The embarassment the loss of wages and money spent on repairs tow etc. well ontop of that only then did I find out that not only had the transmission been assigned onto a different car with a different VIN number. I then found out that the reason I saw sticker residue with pricing and etc. and no one had told me why, the reason was because my rear drivers side window had to be replaced after being damaged! Regardless while I hope and believe this is all being sorted out by (invisible people) at Nissan I have spent weeks without a car for work, groceries, my children and etc. Not only am I hurt however wondering where the transparency is and I simply would like my car fixed and a sincere apology because I really am a real customer with a real problem with my car still sitting in a Nissan shop without getting the repairs and whatever else must be fixed done….i ask that someone please reach out to me I am not rude I simply want help. Please someone reach out and contact me as soon as you can.

Absolutely worst dealer! I just got out this Nissan dealer, I was so so disappointed. I don't want to give even one star rating (the minimum I can pick), if I have a choice, I want to give negative star. I leased a Nissan leaf and the lease will end soon, I decided to purchase it, I went to this Stevens Creek Nissan dealer to complete the transaction. I went there 3 times, talked to multiple people there, spent multiple hours and wait and wait...and full of lies... the third time today, they promised me to finish up everything quickly, but ends up asked me to sign a paper of "Nissan NMAC END OF LEASE CONTRACTUAL OPTION", however, on the save paper, they refused to give their (dealer's) signature. At the end, I got a copy with my signature there ONLY. Now, more funny things happened, they "suggest" me to go to a credit union to purchase my leased car, and asked me to leave their office otherwise they will call police!!! How can such a dealer exists in this world! this store should be closed! 2022/11/21: I have some update, which makes me fell even worse. Today I decided to call Nissan Finance, I received a letter from them reminding me the lease is going to expire soon. Since I will write a check to purchase the leased car, the process is extremely simply. I just need to mail them a form stating the odometer together with a check (just the amount already stated in lease contract, no any additional fee), that's it. So Stevens Creek Nissan made me going back and forth 3 times and spent hours waiting and talking, I guess they just want to make me pay this and that extra fee...at the end they gave up and "suggested" me to go somewhere else. At this point, they still decided to point me to the wrong way, they suggested me to go with a credit union rather contacting Nissan finance.

Including loaning us a vehicle until the work is completed. He is Very out going and very easy to deal with!He is an asset to this company!
