Our experience initially was somewhat good. He seemed to be honest and helpful and sincere aboout what types of car he sells. after making his sale, he becomes a differnt person. He's aweful and rude and can care less about what is wrong with the merchandise he sales. I will never buy another car from him nor would I recommend him to anyone. DON'T BUY A CAR HERE!!!!! Go buy one off the lot at Pick-n- Pull instead because that probably where he buys what he sells. We bought my daughter a Volkwagon Buggie from him. It ran for about a week or so and ended up parked for overheating and the A/C quit working. After changing the fan relay module, it seemed that maybe the car was working ok, it ran for about 4 days and ovever heated on 281. We had to have it towed home. While having it towed, the guy with the wrecker company brought up the fact that the eyebolts were missing and that the actuall frame of the car was not safe. It is bent as if it had been in a car accident. He says that's it unsafe to drive. The car has been parked in our driveway ever since. They say that there could be a number of things wrong with it. The lining on both doors needed fixing and he began to walk away because I didn't want to have to put more money into it. He said, "If that's a deal breaker, I'll fix the doors for you" so I turned around and said ok. He did NOT specify an amount. After the purchase I took the car to where he told me to. They were going to charge $55 per door. He refused to pay and said that if I was gonna have them fix he would only pay $30 per door and I would have to pay the balance. He Never said that. I have had to call him about this car repeatedly, but all I get is his rudeness and when I mentioned that I found out that the car is unsafe, he said, "how am I suppose to know that it's messed up". I told him that I was gonna report him to the Better Business Beurea and Texas Department of Vehicle where he gets his Licensing and he said go ahead and became very sarcastic and rude yelling at me on the phone. So I hung up on him. I did tell him that I will be call the News stations so that others can be aware of his deceitfullness and don't get caught in this trap. Please, be careful of where you buy. Your safety is not important to this man all he wants is your money... We paid $6000 cash....

STAY AWAY! Jeff and Monte are complete snakes that will lie straight to your face. I negotiated with them and they wrote up a signed bill of sale and confirmed we had the car. That SAMEDAY I took a out loan from my bank, which needed a copy of the title. After 5+ calls we finally got a copy of the title. However, anytime I called Jeff was "busy" but supposedly working on the the title right then. But to the bank and my surprise the title showed Towell & Sons did not even own the car! They said it was a mistake and they would be able to get it fixed the next day. By now it is late afternoon and said they would be able to fix it tomorrow. The next morning I get a call from Monte at 9:30am saying he sold the car yesterday afternoon! They knew I took out a loan already and now I am stuck with a car loan and no car! I highly recommend you look elsewhere as the people at this place will do anything to make a quick buck including selling someone a car that they don't even have ownership of.
