I had two completely different service experiences recently, and the contrast couldn’t have been clearer. My experience at Toyota of Surprise was extremely disappointing. I brought my 2024 Tacoma in for recall work and to fix an issue where the truck falsely detected a trailer connected. After keeping the truck for a full day, I was told it was resolved. I didn’t even make it out of the service port before the same warning appeared again. When I went back inside, the advisor I spoke with was dismissive, said he had no context, and came off snarky and unprofessional. There was no ownership of the issue and no real effort to make it right. I ended up leaving and deciding not to return for service. In contrast, I drove a few extra miles to Larry H. Miller in Glendale — and the experience was exactly what you’d expect from a professional service department. They properly diagnosed the problem, fixed it within a day, communicated clearly throughout the process, and even provided a free loaner vehicle. The staff was respectful, transparent, and focused on resolving the issue the right way. I’ve purchased a used vehicle from Toyota of Surprise in the past and had a good experience, which makes this recent visit even more disappointing. Meanwhile, Larry H. Miller earned my trust immediately with their professionalism and follow-through. Going forward, Larry H. Miller will be my go-to dealership for service.

We recently purchased a new car from Right Toyota. My wife and I found everyone we came in contact with to be extremely kind and helpful. The Head of Finance and the Finance Manager, whose names I wish I had written down (Jimmie and Kent), actually assisted us in financing our vehicle, along with great service from our salesman, Jay Jackson, and Allison, who assisted him. I’ve had a relationship with Toyota that spans decades, and I’ve typically worked with one dealership. However, due to the care, diligence, and desire to place us in the car we wanted, they have earned our respect, trust, and future business. I highly recommend Right Toyota. We drove from Tucson, over two hours away, to do business with them, and it was well worth it. Update: We just purchased another vehicle from Right Toyota on March 14th 2026. As expected, Allison Howell and Kent Thompson exceeded our expectations. Their commitment to exceptional customer service and satisfaction is extraordinary. I cannot recommend going to Right Toyota enough. If you need a vehicle, Right Toyota has it and is really the only place you’ll be treated fairly and well.

We went there to purchase a used Hyundai Santa Cruz. Josh was our salesman. He was very helpful, honest, accommodating, and very personable. We said right from the start that we wanted the best price he could give us. We didn't want to go back and forth. He respected that. The dealership was very clean, stylish had a cafe where Josh bought us lunch. We would visit them again if we were looking for another vehicle.

Brought my vehicle in for 120k service on a Saturday - Douglas

Brought my vehicle in for 120k service on a Saturday morning. Despite my concern it would take a while, I stayed and was driving out the bay about 2 hours later. Didn’t even have to take advantage of the shuttle service they provide. During the service they texted me a link of a video showing the filters and the status of some other items under the hood. In summary, Alexander Toyota discusses with the customer as to what needs to be done, does quality work, and keeps their customers informed. Highly recommend.

POOR SERVICE - Trucker

The service department is a joke . I had my engine light come on after changing the battery and getting a oil change at someone other then Toyota . They told me because I didn't use Toyota motor oil thats why the light came on. So I had them change the oil to Toyota oil. They turned off the light and charged me to do that also. The light came back on before I even got home. I took it back and told them about the oil thing and they looked at me like I was nuts,. I showed them the work order that show that. Then they said we will have to take you motor apart . I said you guys don't know what your doing and you not touching it again. Took it to ford and traded it in . Don't go to Tim's Toyota if you want good service.
