A nightmare in xxxx. - Consumer
I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership to help support our local enterprises and at times I was satisfied because one of the technicians came to my job, picked up my vehicle to change my oil on my first non-GM car; however, when the gentleman returned my vehicle the bolt on the right front tire, the bolt was broken off and replaced by a larger bolt that was loose. I just paid out of pocket and replaced it. Two years later, I purchased a GM product and I have gotten my oil changed twice since the ownership, and many people don’t know General Motors (conduct surveys) about ownership experience and dealership customer services, and on a scale of 1-to-10 I rated this business a 6, and said the service was mediocre due to lousy service that my oil was changed, my requested tires weren’t rotated, and my tires PSI weren’t corrected back in December of 2018. Fast forward to March, which is the normal timing for an oil change (every 90 days), and when I arrived once again on a Saturday, there was no one to be found inside the service department after waiting for 10 mins. I had finally saw a car salesman walked by and I kindly asked him about finding me help. Help arrived seconds later. I wasn’t properly greeted in the waiting facility. No one asked me did I want coffee or anything. 45 mins later, my car was finished. No fluids checked. PSI in my tires weren’t checked or corrected, the only thing the inept service manager said was I needed tires. Two days later, General Motors sent me a survey. I took the survey. I rated them once again a 6 out of 10 on a scale of 1-10. Also, in the description below, I stated why I rated that dealership a 6 based on my lousy experience and lack of hospitality. 3 months later, I finally decided to purchase tires. I called the service technician department and a female employee answered the phone. I asked this employee can I bring my car in after speaking to someone that past Saturday to have my tires delivered to MC Chevrolet. She confirmed my appointment and then blatantly confronted me about my past two surveys about “ how her General Manager and service manager was disciplining her as a whole, and she tried to please me the best she and her failed team could.” She also stated, “ if you were not satisfied with our service why are you keep coming to us”? ... My reply: because I spent over $40k with you guys and if you have done a half good job at servicing my vehicle we wouldn’t have this scenario. She also stated, “ on the last 4 surveys you have given us a bad report” and she was yelling unprofessionally on the phone, and I laughed slightly, and “she said I don’t find this funny.” I asked for her service manager since then, and he said, “we tried to please you on several occasions and it seems like we just cannot please you. You have done 4 surveys on us.” I asked him a copy of the 4 surveys and I wanted them to be printed. He said, “ well, I see two and I can only find one right now.” Let me remind you earlier, I said I have taken two surveys from corporate GM headquarters that are randomly sent to people. I then asked him about re-confirming my tires appointment and the service manager said, hold on, I was on hold for a minute, and he returned back to the phone and said, since we cannot please you, come back and get your tires, we don’t want your service here anymore because you are missing with our money. Come to find out. This facility receives a bonus each December and if a negative review has been made, Chevrolet from GM corporate office will not give them their bonus. Not only that, after I have been a loyal customer to this small town business, I will never purchase any vehicle from this company again. Half done service job, service employees are all about bonus than proper customer service and proper maintenance on my car. And I was told to get my tires and go somewhere else about two surveys.
