Service team is great sales team does not honor commitments. - That guy
Superior Hyundai had a salesman who sold a Saab mode 93 to my dad and gave him a free oil change and detail then refused to honor the commitment. Superior had a a salesman named Randall who promised a detailing and oil change with a Saab model 93. My father asked me to take it to the dealer for its maintenance. I called to make an appointment with the business to get these services done and came at my appointed time at 10:00 on Saturday April 30 2016 and was told that the sales manager had said they would not honor the commitment for a detailing. I went to have a discussion with The manager and he told me no salesman should be making a sale on an "as is" "no warranty" car and proceeded to tell me to review the paperwork in which Randall had noted an oil change only. Randall had given us a card with his name and "free detail" written on the back as a coupon and had made a verbal reckoning with my family for the free detailing. When I told him this he said that that kind of promise is the reason Randall is no longer with them - in other words I know he probably told you this but screw you I don't care and we got rid of him for similar reasons. Basically what I got from him was that the contract is a military style contract and if it isn't in my writing in not going to care about it. I know we will probably never get the detailing, it's simply the arrogance of the dealership and the principle of the matter: I just want someone to know that this is how they do business and please be aware. One of the things I have the least use for in this world is a liar and it has been my experience that that's exactly what your going to get out of Superior Hyundai's sales team and that the management, apparently, will be there to defend their lies. They have lost any future possibility of business from me or my family and all over a detailing. Maybe I'm living too far in the past but I feel that I should honor any commitment I make to someone whether I have written it down or told them that I will do it. If you won't do whatever it is then don't tell me that you will... I can guarantee I will never do business with them again and will encourage others to seek their transportation elsewhere after this happening - word of mouth is a powerful tool.
On a positive note - the service team was great - courteous and professional. I'm not looking for them to honor the commitment anymore - honestly even if they offered to honor their commitment I wouldn't accept after this I really want people to know.
