I gave a great rating for a number of reasons. First, Steve Moss's no-nonsense manner and non-pushy approach was just what I was looking for. I don't like to walk into dealerships and feel overwhelmed by aggressive dealers. Approaching Steve online and working through the pricing in that way helped me feel that I was getting the best possible deal. When I met Steve, he was just as he seemed online-- extremely nice, helpful, and willing to put in lots of work to establish the best deal for me. Second, we enjoyed meeting Eric Brooks in sales. Eric took us out for a test-drive, answered our questions, and followed up with us to ask if we had more questions (but w/out being pushy.) Like, I always got the feeling that Eric was just asking what he could do to make sure we were happy. He made it seem like he was there for us. I appreciated that. Lastly, Eric was extraordinarily patient with my mother (70 years old) in explaining all of the bells & whistles on the Subaru Forester Limited that we bought. Overall, we had an extremely satisfying experience-- from customer service, to friendliness, to price. We would definitely buy another Subaru from Wilkins. More
I've bought two new cars from this dealership for reasonable prices. We love our Subies and have been happy with the salesmen. Service on the vehicles has been good and the valet program with loaner reasonable prices. We love our Subies and have been happy with the salesmen. Service on the vehicles has been good and the valet program with loaner car for any service is fabulous. Only negative was the push to sell extended warranty on the cars. I got talked into it both times, though it came in handy and paid for itself with just one expensive repair on the Forester. I recommend the Subaru itself and this dealership. More
Very professional and friendly from the very first moment you set foot in the office. Office manager assisted with all the insurance paperwork. Body Shop manager gave my vehicle personal attention. Bought a 2010 Legacy GT a few months back. Long story short the car was a Lemon! The service department is Fantastic and Subaru of America is equally good to deal with. however the sales/finance staff h short the car was a Lemon! The service department is Fantastic and Subaru of America is equally good to deal with. however the sales/finance staff here at wilkins are a joke. I felt as if once I bought the car I did not matter any longer, I was now low priority. Frank the sales manager often gave false information and was very unprofessional. I would buy another Subaru some day, but I would never buy one while these guys are running the show. Again I want to make it clear that everyone I delt with in the service department were fantastic. More
